I know it's hypocritical, but does that justify you doing it?
No, but I'm not spamming up threads with it.
If you noticed, that was the first time I've posted in this thread in quite a few pages.
Also, you acknowledging the hypocrisy hardly leaves you room to critique me. 😉.

Sorry about the delay but I promise it's nearing an end. I just PM'd the person who picked Cable, so I'll probably be getting his new selection before the day's out.
Also, I need to get everyone's opinion on Blink. According to DC, 616 Blink is actually more powerful than Exiles, and is something akin to a reality warper(which is banned). So I was wondering if anyone would mind my allowing the Exiles version for this thing since he had more than 10 appearances? One hit kills and the like via teleportaion are banned, so none of you will have to worry about that kind of thing. I'll leave the final decision about it up to the general consensus of the participants though because even if we allow Blink, few(if any) other alternate versions will be allowed. So it's up to you guys to decide whether or not your willing to waive the "alternates" rule in this specific instance.
As for the "killability"(who the Hell thought up that word anyway?) limit, I'm going to go ahead and ban people like Hydroman and Sandman so that they don't become the most sought after characters for the tourney.
In regards to the next draft, it'll probably start the day after I get word back about Cable's replacement and Blink, so the sooner we get those two details ironed out we can move forward with this thing.
I'm against allowing the exiles version of blink. Too much control of her powers. 2nd, the regular version somehow beat the I-B before she got HIS powers, in a WHAT-IF.

She was able to kill almost anything by a teleport wave that shredded whatever was in it's wake. Let's just ban her crazy powers and use the regular version.

Couldn't she just blink away an armor character's armor or weapons, etc?
Would that be breaching the rules though? I may not be participating in this tourney but it seems that you're only trying to ban the character because she could cause a bit of trouble for her opposition, which seems sort of unfair to both the character and the user who chose her. 😬
IMO It would be equavilent to banning telepathy entirely because some characters have no way of protecting themselves from a mind fry.

Personally, I wouldn't put her above IM level. But I'll leave it up to the participants, I don't particularly care that much about Blink.

No, Cable with mutant powers is Nate Grey level, which is >>> Iron Man.
Huh? But he has that whole techno-virus thing which keeps him check. He'll end up killing himself if he over does it.
Since telepathy is limited, and instant kills involving telekinesis are banned what other problem could Cable pose apart from shields?
