Just a little warning NJ, if you do try to amp up powers via killing with the ebony blade you are essentially amping using only Black Knight's "powers" ... and single character amping beyond Iron Man levels was banned ... do it and you lose all of BK's powers and be left with only Cannonball and Colossus.

Its the same as Ironman using absorbed energy to make himself stronger than base. He has used it to amp himself up to Thor's level and has KOed two heralds using it 😬
Face it I got stronger from base level a number of other people can do it and one other person has already done to make themselves stronger for the next round 😬

Edit: Plus I have to actually beat my guy to gain their powers. It isn't like I can just take them like other people can I literally have to kill them first 😛

Nope, Leo was only absorbing knowledge and stuff ... no actual strength/power upgrades.Iron Man can amp slightly by using more energy but it fries his system (and he still does not get up to Thor's level) ... again, he doesn't add any powers he didn't already have.
If he beats your guy he gets all of Moonstone's tech as well. 😬
And Ironman amps himself up that is what matters. His base level can get stronger heck he has two guys that can do that. And he can amp himself to the point where he can KO two heralds of Galactus. 😬
The fact is I didn't do anything that Leo didn't.
Edit: I would also like to point out I do not see how one amping ability is allowed and another would be taken away 😬
To my knowledge, he didn't physically take the card, but rather downloaded it's information and capabilities into DHII. And I doubt he could download a Moonstone....DHII's assimilation abilities are relegated to instincts/skills of a person and computer systems.
Just wanted to clarify.
Personally, I don't see a problem with what Newjak's doing but I'll have to look into the specifics of the strategy more before forming a concrete opinion.

But he stilled amped up his own abilities by adding BP's knowledge and the knowledge of the Card. So essentially he amped up his mind character by adding BP's fighting abilities and the Card's knowledge. Which means he just gain access to all of those feats. 😬

i also have a few problems with it, but i don't want to make roldz's arguments for him. but even if nj wins, there is nothing set in stone regarding his 'new powers', right? they can be debated in the next rd, or we can debate the 'legality' of his feat in this thread, right?

It doesn't affect the current match ... he's claiming that the only way to get those powers is to kill someone with the EB, so it's not like those powers could be used before this match ends anyway.

Back to it, increasing knowledge does not increase your power ... even taking BP's fighting skill would make virtually no difference to the DH II cyborg as he is already as capable in combat as his body alows him to be.
Besides, power copying was banned.

I'd say killing them constitutes an injury ... but I'm pretty sure power copying as a whole was banned as well, which is why Mimic was banned straight off the bat.
if your powerset ALLOWS (beleiveably) for such a carry over, it should be fine. in my particular case, dhii has ALREADY assimilated over 100 personalities. it's what he was DESIGNED to do. he was meant to continue to become stronger -- but he does NOT gain 'new powers'.
being able to fight like BP is a LOT differnt then gaining TP/TK because i absorbed someone's soul. i gain 'knowledge'. not 'powers'.
nj said something about if i beat bw's guy i would get ironman's tech -- not true at all. i'd gain nothing from the armor except maybe access to stark's computers, if i could prove the armor is linked to any computer system stark uses.
