planning on getting COD4 in a few days since ive been hearing all these good things and this 'surpasses Halo 3 as most played on Xbox Live' - game.

Just got the game tonight and started playing for a bit...I suck, but it's a lot of fun 😄

But I thought you didn't like them repetitive shoot-em ups 😛

First turning point, now this! tis' only a matter of time before I see you on Halo..

This isn't quite a typical FPS and I've been wanting it since we demoed it at my work back in October 😛 Personally, I love the RPG-ish elements mixed in (levelling up? Sweet!) as that's right up my alley.

Also, the graphics are gorgeous, I was having waaaay too much fun with the sniper rifle (shooting through walls and shooting off guys' legs when they try and hide in the grass = fun. I know, I'm evil), and the guys I work with have insisted I play this on Live with them 😛

I suck at the game so far - I'm playing it on Recruit as I really am horrible at shooters, and I die a lot (mostly grenades getting me), but it's a ton of fun and I'd still be playing if my sister wasn't being a brat.

The RPG element is only in multiplayer. Single player it's pretty standard and linear, but it's great fun.

I've been playing a lot again lately, on multiplayer. So if you see me on playing, feel free to join the game I'm in and we'll suck together.

Wait until you get to the Mile High Club, but glad to hear you are enjoying it, it is a good game.

And does anybody else replay the campaign...especially with the slow-mo and other cheats on? It is surprisingly fun.

The only thing I dont undrstand about multiplayer is how in the Blue F*ck are people leveling up so damn fast?!? I've owned the game since November and I'm just now a level 52 Major General (Two Stars). While speaking to some people as we play, they have told me that they have beat the game more than three times! How do they get all of this XP so damn fast? I'm not what you would call "badass" at COD 4, but I definitely dont suck, either.

Maybe I forget sometimes that I have a job, and a kid to look after, and I dont get as much play time as I want to.

I just don't bother with challanges, being the case I am not but a level 19.

I visited the GameSpot CoD4 forum a while back and a lot of people were talking about the glitch allowing people to boost through levels, so don't worry. Most are cheaters.

Thats just sad.

It really is...but it happens in many games...Halo 3 also.

It gets annoying, the only reason why I am lv. 19 is because I can't be bothered with challenges.
