Call of Duty 4

Anyone know of a site that have a list of what the different Icons in the multiplayer class selection screen means? I am talking about the three colored icons on each class, some saying that Overwatch get two RPGs and so on, I have managed to decipher some of them, but others I have no idea what is.

Just completed the Singleplayer Campaign, freaking great game.

Also, the Challenges and Perks etc I have heard about, is that a Live Gold only thing?

Yeha, those only apply to online play.

Yes, you can level up to 55, you unlock new multiplayer items, modes, weapons ect.

Ok, so if I play multiplayer on a Splitscreen I think I sometime get experience points popping up, but they don't count if I don't play Online?

Then maybe im wrong, im not sure, ive only played it live. Do you have like a ranking?

Nope, I haven't found (haven't searched that much either though) any kind of rankings or leveling system.

Only on LIVE multiplayer matches do you level up, Private one on one does not give you experience points.

This is by far my favorite game of 2007.

why, oh why, do enemies re-spawn until you move forward? This has always been the worst aspect of most FPS's. This is really annoying

Yes that really is the worst aspect of the single player game, and I hope it gets remedied for the next one.

Apparently they are going back to WWII for the next one. 🙁

So even if they do fix it...I still say WTF?

Yeah, its alot not done by the Infinity Ward, but the guys who made Call of Duty 3.

There is only one game I want to play that is in WW2, and that is Battlefield series. I think they take the improvements they made with the second, and great graphcis, I think it will be just as good as the original.

The original was amazing but very raw.

As far as I know they've not announced what the setting for the next one is going to be, all rumors at this point, I think.

Anyone else have had a lot of trouble with the Epilogue on Veteran? With the time limit the best way seem to move fast enough to get past the new spawn points so that game doesn't get time to spawn, noticed that the amount of bad guys is lower if I rush through then going systematically.

As for best WWII game, that would indeed be a Battlefield 2 sequel, as Smas said.

I've heard that Epilogue is the most difficult level to finish on Veteran.

Yes, that I can believe, I haven't done everything on Veteran yet, I just wanted to do the Epilogue before the rest. Now I must have spent about an hour and a half on this level, about 150 tries... Kinda getting frustrating, especially when you get two feet away from the target and suddenly get gunned down by one fool you didn't see.

The farthest i made it on the epilogue on vetern was to the very beginning of the second level of the plane, then dying straight then

There's a reason you get the "Beaten the game on Veteran" achievement before the Epilogue. Its a saddistic paradise.
