deep impact is a waste of time...it only means the bullets do more damage when passing through walls...if you shoot someone directly it doesn't increase the bullet damage...or so i'm informed...

No it doesn't increase power though walls, it allows you bullets to go through walls.

But some bullets automatically go through dont they?

Actually looking at info, Deep Impact does in fact allow bullets that go through walls more power so you can kill them easier.

If you shooting a SAW with heavy bullets than they will go through soft cover.

heh.. I hope they add some new interesting perks.. so many options with that kind of system

i've killed people through walls without it on so i would say yes...although it might allow bullets from the smg's to go through because i dont think they are powerful enough without it...but i'm almost certain i've killed people through walls with assault rifles and sniper rifles without the perk...maybe i'm mistaken

No, your right.

Even in the description it says about giving better power for shots through walls.

I played today and a few things I've noticed, a. deeper impact allows me to shoot MP5 through walls and on the PC, I expect atleast 5-10 heli's in a ten mintute game and double the amount of airstrikes and constant UV coverage.

Atleast for the PC version they should get UV coverage after 5 kills, 7 for strike and 10 for heli's. Or, atleast make them disappear when you die.

I'm downloading the new maps right now. This should be really fun.

Anyone on the Playstation Network who wants to play, look for me: Impediment.

I'm playing the shit out of these new maps and I love them. Chinatown and the Creek are my two favorites.

Unfortunately, I'll stop playing the instant I go out and buy GTA 4.

whats your 360 name imped?

mine is Mairuzu

I have the PS3 version. My PSN name is Impediment. My Xbox Live name is Impediment28.

ah =\

How many levels does this game have ?

thats what i thought. 3 days later i'm playing cod again. gta is good and all... but hardcore team deathmatch is too much fun.

I just finished playing COD4 for the first time, I was surprised at how much better it was than the other COD's.

Why do quite alot of people like the hardcore game mode so much? I personally can't stand it, its especialy annoying for when I take out my desert eagle for instance, oh and did I mention I can't see whats left of my ammo when I use the M60!!! grr....

If it wasn't for the fact that the Hardcore was so limited I would play it the most. I absolutely love the HUD-free screen, hate having mini-map, ammo counter etc. But the two things I hate with Hardcore: 1 - no killcam, 2 - HP is set too low, getting killed by someone who have negative amount of skill because they hit your nail.

well its either that or.. "i have to shoot you two times in the face with this pistol cuz I didnt spend my entire life playing to get a desert eagle, lol"

Gotta let something out:

"YES!!! ABOUT FREAKING TIME"

Have been sitting at this bloody Mile High Club thingy for hours now trying to get it done on Veteran.
And now I finally did it.
Call of Duty 4 is officialy the first game I have 1000/1000 Gamerscore.

I know in the PC version, hardcore gets the killcam if the server allows it.

I love hardcore. No Hud is awesome. I also like the lower HP too. Its more about putting yourself in a good position than just how accurate you are.

More realistic.

Does suck when the airstrikes and heli's get too much. I still hate those ****ing things.
