TPK Revan however used a form of Force Concealment and Mind Tricks to fool Yuthura and get inside the Sith Academy. He even fooled the powerful Sith master Uther Wynn in the same manner with such abilities.

Both Yuthura and Uther Wynn could see through the heart of a prospect during selection process.
Revan was a pure Jedi by heart when he went to Korriban during the events of KOTOR and any powerful and experienced Sith could sense that and suspect his true motives but Revan was adept in the art of Mind Tricks and masked his strong Light-sided alignment to fool the Sith.
The definition of Force Concealment technqiue is: Force Concealment was a power that was used by highly skilled Force-sensitives to mask their Force alignment (Light or Dark), their ability to use the Force, or even their entire presence from other Force sensitives.

There was only one way to get inside the Sith Academy in Korriban during the reign of Darth Malak and that was through approval of Yuthura. Now she was not an idiot who would take any person or a Jedi inside the Sith Academy for training in the ways of Sith.

Now there are other ways revan could have got in, he is also a charismatic person and he can easily pursuade anybody and even in gameplay there was no option to fool yuthara through a force pursuade.

I would like to point out that the Sith Academy on Korriban was exceptionally guarded and managed during the reign of Darth Revan and Darth Malak.
Thats not what I was talking about, Revan on his quest to find the Star Forge went to Korriban with Malak after the Mandalorian Wars, he then pretty much waltzed into the academy and took it over making it his training ground for Dark Jedi.
You don't have to use mind tricks of any sort to get into the Academy all you have to do it get a medallion and lie and or persuade Yuthura to let you in, even if you don't you'll still get in as its a plot point and you have to do it.

And another important thing was that Revan used Force Concealment to mask his strong Light-sided alignment from the Sith so that they would not doubt his true purpose or ambitions. He actually clouded the judgments of Sith with that ability in Korriban.
