That's what he wants you to think.

And in that story, Superman's vulnerability to kryptonite was played up tremendously. Something tells me that a hunk of it the size of Brazil on course with Earth would f*ck him up royally (going by what we saw).

Well, considering he was fine until we saw what happened after Batman kicked him...

It was the throw and the slam into the mountain. Last I checked, a kick doesn't make you bleed from your forehead.

Last I checked, neither does getting hit into a mountain. There's actually no reason he started to bleed...

I'll try.

It's a definite possibility. One I'd sooner believe than a kick to the back. But I do believe the kick reverted him back into a child.

Meh, Billy is a douche. However, he lives in Fawcett City, which is in Indiana. So, he does have a few good things going for him.

Val PM'd me the following list, and I updated Page 1. It has some Runaways and Alpha Flight characters added, as well as whatever changes have been decided upon.

Similar to a kick to the back?

I like Billy... racist.

Ambiguous. All we see is his blur slamming into the mountain. "Back first" is speculation, regardless of the fact that he ended up that way.

Ah, he must have rolled... while he was KO'ed... while he was in the direct center of the tiny crater...

Who says he was KO'd? He was conscious when Batman talked to him.

And if you were thrown into the side of a mountain that hard, I betcha wouldn't stay perfectly still after the impact. Especially if you were Billy.

He was KO'ed when BM approached him.

Also, Billy was partly buried under snow.

KO'd? Nah, it was part of his plan to fool Bats.

Well, I had a good time over in the herochat thread concerning this list, but I think I'm done now. The Mod (Imperial something-or-other) was cool about it, and had some smart things to say, but the rest was suspect at best.

The final straw was a guy ignoring 98% of an intelligent post and focusing on a Superman/Hulk comment to try to stress to me that Kal isn't that far out of Hulk's league. I was like "I don't really need to do this anymore" and came back here.

And looking through some of their vs. threads, I really doubt that board would make a better list. I stumbled into a Super Skrull vs. Apollo/Engineer/Midnighter/Swift battle, for example. The first guy said "SS wins" and no one really seemed to disagree. It was scary.

Also, I used their respect forum to sell the idea of making one to Raz and the globals back when we created ours. But anymore, ours is >>>> theirs, both in terms of number of characters and quality.

Anyway: It's a good list. Be proud. There's always flaws, but overall it's darn accurate.

And people actually concerned themselves with what SHC thinks about us? Lawlz...

KMC is about the best comic site you're liable to find on the internet. Even forums with legit comic writers I've found aren't as good. For one thing, the comic writers only concern themselves with the characters they write, and nothing outside of that.

In terms of overall poster knowledge, KMC is about the best.

Personally I thought it was crazy "we" (using that term lightly) were even asking their advice. If you've seen this board and that one, it's easy to see opinions differ wildly.

Oh, I wasn't looking for advice. It was more boredom and the vague possibility of some fun arguments.

Most of their suggestions made their way over here at some point and were shot down, so I'm not too concerned about it.

Most of their problems stemmed from different definitions of what it meant to be "street" or "herald", not with actual tiers. Others worried about individual matchups without seeing that there's differences on any 1 level. Others were Hulk fanboys ( 😐 ). Only a few concerns were actually legit imo.

Indeed.
