Nah, I like the cutoff. I gladly leave the list itself in members' hands for the most part, but there's a reason we made the cutoff at < Skyfather. Too much higher and we'd start getting Mr. Master monologues, which might be informative, but he covers it fine in his thread and it's not like we'd add much to the proceedings ( or be able to get a word in 😉 ).
The original (and current) purpose of the list is to provide a general yardstick for people who don't know enough about comics to accurately place characters within a hierarchy. Someone should be able to find all but the most obscure characters and see roughly where they fall on a power scale. It does that very well, and isn't bogged down trying to be all-inclusive. Probably about 95% of comics deal with roughly Surfer and below. To go much further would be to sacrifice a concise and efficient list for the sake of trying to be needlessly thorough.
Also, defining "levels" anywhere at or above Skyfather is an exercise in futility. The demarcations we've created for this list are also arbitrary, but work fairly well because the power levels are at least quantifiable. The same can't be said for anything higher, since creating arbitrary levels for characters and beings whose powers and existences defy description would end up causing more confusion than anything.
So debate has died down, but that's expected. Eventually we reach an equilibrium with a lot of characters and the list settles down into a fairly steady state. This is a good thing.
Sorry to shoot the idea down, but it's not something I'll be implementing under my watch for these and assorted other reasons.
Maybe but it seems like if we've finally ceased debating the tiers because they're near-perfect now, the only logical thing to do would be to go one tier higher and spend the next approximately 300 pages debating that one. And yeah it would get kind of arbitrary but I think if we cap it off at skyfather it would be workable.

Right. Which is fine. Hopefully others comment/vote. My comments were just directed at MM, whose motion obviously wasn't a serious attempt.
