Actually, I can't stand them either. It's an outdated rule. It's correct-ness is offset by the vast number of respected and respectable writers who use it frequently. Good to know the rule, but only so that you can be informed when you break it.

And I think Supes would be in a world of trouble. Not a quick fight, but only because Dr. M would take a while to adjust accordingly to the new power set.

And I certainly can't stand teachers that are anything less than the strict, bitchy cliché.

Heh. fair 'nuf. Teaching the rules is good. You have to learn to write in a b*tchy, formulaic model before you should be allowed to break those rules. But most writing conventions are made to be broken...just, imo, by those whose writing is quality enough to begin with, and who understand writing well enough to make informed and logical "breaks."

But I don't take off for starting sentences with 'and' unless it is frequent, at which point I mention it.

Fair enough. His tech is pretty damn good. Though his H2H leaves something to be desired.

Multiple incarnations, plus one of them being well beyond this list, equals a couple votes in the past on him....both of which ended in a near-unanimous "leave him off the list" because he's too complicated to figure out. So sorry, but it won't be happening.

It generally takes months/years to firmly establish power levels of new characters. We can approximate them, but it would be mostly speculation.
