God cannot lie because He is Truth. Limited? I see this as a blessing than a limitation for if God could lie it would imply that God is a sinner. no kind and JUST god would do that. nor would he need to. because if god is perfect it doesnt matter what people think. he wouldnt need or command worship, he would simply be.

and by the way, perfect implies he has literally no restraints. which means that he CAN lie, or he is limited, and therefore imperfect even in a minute way. but we know he is vastly imperfect. infact it is completely reminiscent of a young child to me. a complex child, but a child. who craves so much attention, that if they had the chance, they would punish people who didnt pay attention to them? a small child. if this god is your savior then may something help you. chuck norris, therapy, suicide, i dont really care. but if you like masochism and submitting yourself to the will of basically a child, then well chuck bless you.

Why do you believe in God? Why should others? How can you expect anyone to believe in a super-powerful God who doesn't do anything relevant, just because of one fictional book? Do you also believe Sauron is also a God? If not, then why not?

If God can not lie then he is not all powerful, if God is perfect then he would also be the perfect liar and how could we know?

I believe in God perhaps because someone was praying for my salvation as I am praying for the salvation of everyone on this site. It took a long time for me to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead. But, the seed of faith was planted in my heart when I was nine years old and it took root ten years later. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

I don't necessarily expect anyone to do anything except hear (or read the Word/gospel) then one day respond in faith to Jesus. Sauron? I have never heard of such a god. I believe that there is only one true God. His Name is YHWH and His Son is Jesus the Christ.

I will not peruse any of your links. I have before, and they're nothing but more of the same. It's always the same argument from you. God says this and god says that and when asked for proof, you point at the bible.

Why do I come out of the gate swinging at you? Becacuse I find your endless preaching and closet condemnation of anyone who is capable of seeing past your fantacism over an ancient jewish desert superstition. No one asked for your insights or your seemingly bottemless well of copy and paste resources on how wrong we all are in our lives and how we live them. And why do you never respond to me? Because you think you're the better person by simply not sinking to what you consider to be my level. I've engaged you in actual debate, complete with points and counter points and when the debate finally gets distilled to the heart of the matter, you more often than not (with everyone, not just me) disappear. A day or two later you pop back up starting your crap all over again, and ignoring everyone who ehgaged you before. And, they ignore you, because they eventually learn that you have nothing to say that is worth listening to. And past all that, I've resorted to simply calling you on your bullshit. And I'm sure you're sitting there thanking your fairy tale god for the resolve to persevere in the face of mine and others condemnation of practically everything you've said on these forums. Well, I'll thank your god that has apparently granted myself and others to do the same in the face of your endless babble.

And, I really sholdn't be suprised you took my use of the word "EVER", seriously. You take every word of the New Testament literally, except the ones of Jesus that is.
