Can you handle the Truth?

To be fair, the question of where is the double talk was never officially answered. I just read what looks like more people trying to appear smarter than everyone else here.

Then you should back read more of what JIA has posted. His double talk is common knowledge to anyone who has tried to debate him. Please try not to make assumptions. sometimes people deserve the treatment they get.

I pointed out some:

You accuse me of having a persecution complex and then say it's the christians that are persecuted on this forum. You tell me I make no sense and then spend an entire paragraph telling me why what I'm saying is wrong. You profess to want to be a prienst and then make fun of some's mortal sin.

"Tried" is exactly right. You can't actually debate with someone like him, just put him in a corner that eventually leads to him saying "I believe, therefore it is."

But he does have a secret phrase. Try it sometime. The phase is: The Golden Compass.

Where is the double talk?
It started with the word "How" and ended with the word "sin" and everything in between was double talk. I could try and explain it to you further but you would dismiss it as normal and since you have already said that no amount of proof would change your mind it is kind of pointless. 😉

Read my first post, I could go and point out every bit of flaws in the logic as many have already done with JIA but he would dismiss it as normal or use more double talk and circular logic to back up his claim. It is not trying to be “smarter” and I’m sure there are many subjects that he may be well more versed on but in this one he doesn’t use basic logic. I’m not saying this as a religious slam I know many religious people that are very logical however JIA is a fanatic zealot that has already stated that no amount of proof could ever change his view.

You almost quoted the Bible.

2 Corinthians 4:13
And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,

I like that, but a inclusion of a scripture is nice too.

Sure, in reference to what in particular?

Faith is not, but religion is.

The most accurate hair splitting that you have ever made. I agree with you religion is a poison. Now, I would like to do some hair splitting of my own if you don't mind. Faith in Jesus is not a religion, it is a relationship. Jesus did not die on the cross to bring religion. Jesus died so that we could be brought back to God (in a relationship).

If you agree that religion is the poison, then you have nothing left to say.

Just about anything can be poison if you let it.

Um...I never said that faith was poison, did I? I take it that you did not read my hair-splitting, semantical breakdown of religion just seven posts above this one.

Hi Storm. But, what makes you say this?

i did, and i am telling you that if you can have faith without having dogma, then it isnt poison. faith CAN lead to bad things, but not enough to be called poison. dogma on the other hand IS poison. and much of organised relegion is dogma and not faith.

I like how you qualify that religion is a poison while then splitting the hair to say that faith in the Christ is not a matter of religion.

No wonder everyone accuses you of blatant double-speak.
