Students are being taught evolution, because its a part of science curriculum. Its up to them to accept or reject what their teachers say. My son tells me that he doesn't believe half the shit his middle-aged, extreme leftist, former flower children, pot smoking professors say. According to him, they find very sly ways of inserting their opinions into their curriculum. He takes notes, and memorizes what he has to, to pass the test, but that doesn't mean he's being brainwashed.
My point: I'm not likening The Theory of Evolution (which I actually have a lot of respect and admiration for) to the anti-government rhetoric of a Vietnam draft-dodger. I'm saying that your question is about as respect-worthy as asking if kids are being brainwashed by being taught sociology in a sociology class.

for instance, keystone species are essential in the proper functioning of certain enviornments. once that keystone species is removed, the enviornment changes (and from the studies i've read, the affect is always negative).
those species then must adapt to the significant changes.
so why can't the Architect have designed all species in such a way to be able to adapt and survive through such measures.
