God is the Judge of all flesh so unlike a parent He reserves absolute authority over the life of all flesh as well.

Does that mean if a father has sex with his daughter, she is still a virgin?

To Yakety Sax, nonetheless, which makes it okay 💃Edit: I'm guessing that appointed time is when the sun explodes?
No, rape is not okay.
Well, God has not revealed when that day will be. But hopefully it will be soon. I am eager to see the Father, the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Heaven, the other believers who are in Heaven, all of the Old and New Testament men and women of God, etc.

Well apparently you've never done it to Yakety Sax, so who are you to judge?

JIA, why is your whole existance based on these stories? have you ever considered that it may be just that. Did you ever look outside the Bible for answers? Did you? Many of us know the Bible through and through...so we can quote it, but can you come back from an alternative point of view?
I believe that Truth has been revealed to me in the Scriptures. Initially I was skeptical of the Bible's divine origin, but have since become absolutely convinced that it is the Word of the living God. Really your question is why do I believe the Bible. Why not any other so-called holy book. In my humble opinion Truth is absolute and singular so there could not be any other answers (i.e. outside of the Bible). An alternative view? Why would I need to come back from an alternative view when I am sold as it were on the Bible being all that it affirms to be? There are some things that I may have an alternative view on, such as who I believe should be the next President of the United States. I have differing perspectives on many things, from food to clothing, cars to education. But some things are just not debatable. God is either the only one of His kind or the Bible is false. Jesus is either the only way to the Father or the Bible is untrue. There is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun (avoid) or the Bible should be treated like any other book. The Scriptures cannot be definitive about how to be saved from sin only through Jesus Christ and yet embrace alternative views about the same subject. That would be a contradiction. Well, I cannot embrace alternative views and believe the Bible at the same time because they mutually exclude one another. Now this might be possible with other systems of beliefs because they don't claim to be the only way to God.

But what is it about Christianity that convinces you that it is the absolute truth? Was there some process you underwent to become Christian or did it just suddenly become apparent to you?

I have to say that...it was as though scales fell from my eyes and for the first time in my life I believed in Jesus Christ. I truly stepped out on faith and confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I remember having a hunger for the Word of God that intensified the more that I read it. The Bible was real and alive. I no longer viewed the Word as just another book because it changed my life. I was born again, really transformed in my spirit man. I was not even aware that God was drawing me to Christ. I just knew that the Bible is the Word of God, that Jesus is the Son of the living God. I just knew that Jesus died for my sins just like the Bible revealed, and that He rose from the dead. I just knew that God is real, and that Heaven and Hell exist. I just knew that God created the Heavens and the earth. But prior to all of this I was a sinner just like everyone else. I cursed, fornicated, lied, stole, got drunk, and so forth. I just wish that I had the power to remove the blindness over people's minds so that they could see, know, and recognize Who Jesus Christ truly is. I pray that one day everyone on this site will see Jesus for Who He is--God Almighty.
