ok, the calendar I get...

that comic was surreal... aren't chick tracks more, and i use the term loosely, set in reality? like, aren't vampire covens a stretch for him? (no, I didn't read the whole thing, sheesh)

You should, it was epic. Jesus sent a blast of energy through the Bible to stop Igor and then he became a Christian.

I always thought that it was because many believe that Truth, when regulated thru the bible, then becomes limited Truth.

If god is all good and sees what has become of his creations and does nothing, then this god is either a comedian and we are his TV, or he is a masochist...but if you believe in predestination, then I guess god is a puppet master, and we are his puppet toys.

Good does not = evil

Or does it?

Are there only two groups of people on planet earth? Believer and unbeliever? Born again and unregenerate? Heaven bound and Hell bound? Saved and unsaved? Those who trust only Jesus for salvation from sin and Hell and those who do not or who trust in other means/persons/methods?

What say you?

Or...God respects free will so much that He will not intervene unless you ask Him to.

And what about unanswered prayers? That is asking god to intervene and he doesn't.

God is not a cosmic bellhop Who just does whatever we need or want at the drop of a dime. We cannot just do our own thing 365 days a year and then when we get into a jam or something that we cannot figure out, call on God and expect Him to bail us out. It does not work that way. We must live according to His Word, strive to please Him, spend time with Him in prayer, read His Word and speak or confess His Word daily. These are some of the responsibilities that we as believers have. Jesus said it this way:

John 15:7
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

The problem of unanswered prayer has to do with our faith (i.e. we must believe and confess i.e. say that we have whatever it is we need/want in order for it to manifest in our lives), our relationship with God (i.e. our walk with God. We must make an effort to live holy), and finally with God's timing. God does things on a time basis or in the appointed time, not just on a need/want basis. Look up the word "appointed" in the Bible and tell me what you learn. Again, we must spend time putting God's Word into our heart as well so that we can speak it into existence in our lives.

Nope.

Strictly speaking, you can't say anyone is hell bound for sure...

all it takes is a Damascus moment and your entire fate is turned around.

BS, and your an ass 😉

How can you have free will if you don't have the information to make a choice????

What?

OK, it comes down to this. Why doesn’t God just show himself? Why does he require you to believe in him through “faith” then not just show him self? This would not be against anything he has taught, you still have the choice to believe or follow his teaching but at least you have the knowledge that he does exist. He keeps his followers “dumb” on purpose which allows the Devil to do his work, so why wouldn’t he just show him self. What harm is there in the fact that all of his creation knows that he exists?

Why wouldn’t he just show him self? Why doesn't Santa Clause show himself?
