You say "the truth" as if there was only one.

You say "the truth" as if there was only one.

That all depends on your definition of truth.

If there was more than one physical definition of truth we as humans would all be very confused.

Were do you get that idea?

Truth is relative, and based upon the needs of the society that created that "truth".

Truth about what?

The truth about how an object will orbit the sun and the truth about the mechanism behind gravity are both objective.

Personal truth, truth as it pertains to individual and societal growth must be subjective so long as we embrace the idea of free will. (Self-Irony?)

I am talking about "the truth" that the thread is all about.

What do you think Jesus meant when He said,

John 14:6 (New King James Version)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth , and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

I value your perspective or input.

He is also Way and Life too, does that mean that there is only one Way and only one Life?

Well, 'the truth that this thread is all about' is rather poorly defined, as a 'truth' generally implies that there is something not the truth, as in a lie. Is there a lie about personal spiritual growth?

Don't ask me; ask JIA. 😄

Is there a lie about personal spiritual growth?

Was the universe itself created by the society for their own personal needs?

The more intelligence you have, the closer to the workings of the universe/truth you actually are.
Humans being a prime example of this.

The truth is how things work, aka God.

Humans aim to know things, and there are things to know, hence people believe in a God.
We could have easily been created by randomness, but we are infact created from a knowable universe which is just as capable of truth as we are.

This doesn't even count as begging the question because you haven't provided any proof or evidence.

What would the distinction be? You say 'knowable' universe; how is that different from a random universe?

The universe was not created.

Humans being a prime example of this.

We are small animals on a blue planet. We have only began to learn.

Which god are you talking about?

Gods are the invention of man.

The idea of a god is like a book mark for those parts of the universe we are clueless to understand.

We did not come into existence because of randomness. The universe does not work that way. Cause and effect rules all things in the universe. We are the result of that cause and effect.
