Ivy doesn't NEED to counteract sue. Fact is, Sue doesn't have superhuman stamina. Ivy can outlast sue, till sue is exhausted and passes out. She then uses airborne spores to rip Sue apart from the inside out.

Chances are, she wouldn't even need to wait till Sue's exhausted - her forcefields don't stop telepathic communication with plants, do they? 😕.

I was thinking Ivy could probably create gigantic trees in an instant and drop them on Sue's shields. It'll probably strain Sue' powers.

Or giant vines that can wrap around and crush her shields

a lot of good telepathic communication with plants would do against being crushed by forcefields.

Please don't imply a fight between them would even last that long - cuz it wouldn't.

Ever read Swamp Thing? Ivy is basically as good as him, maybe with better plant control. But don't quote me on that.

Anyways, Johnny will exhaust himself if he tries to burn her apart. And she'll reach up after him with vines, or trees, etc. Which will force him to burn hotter and expend energy.

Simply put, he can't do anything to her, and she can outlast him.
