Fantastic Four vs.

Started by What If...3 pages
Funny....here I thought that plants can get burned, and spread fire, meaning he would not have to get hotterp

Funny....I didn't think Johnny planned to burn the entire Earth.

Oh wait, he can't anways.

shrug Well, if she drops a tree on him he'll have to turn up the heat abit, won't he?

What are bunch of plants going to do to Johnny going Nova?

Not alot.

What is an exhausted Jonny going to do once he's collapsed and Ivy's casually snapped his neck with a vine?

Johnny goes Nova.

Then what?
He's exhausted, and there are still billions and billions of spores/plants/lichens/algae’s, etc. left in the world 🙂

The real question is - What is a little ball of fire going to do Ivy?

Not to mention...Ivy has pheromones, I doubt Johnny would even want to attempt to kill her. 😉

Yes, yet Ivy still gets defeated by Batman on a regular basis. She's fights like an idiot.

The F4 hold their own against Galactus (PIS, though) I still think their teamwork and Reed's intelligence will give them the edge

That'll never happen, her larynx will have been crushed by a forcefield long before that.

You guys keep bringing up that the Four will get exhausted. Why are you assuming the fight will last that long?

Remember when I mentioned Swamp Thing? Ivy is basically unkillable. Do you think the F4 can beat Iceman without prep time? You have to burn up all the plants and slime, and lifeforms and possibly ignite the atmosphere to kill Ivy, and that pretty dooms the F4 and earth. So only by a pyrric victory can they win. And you won't anyone on here who considers a pyrric victory a good way to win...........

Because, as has been mentioned, Ivy is unkillable on earth.

Also; Batman doesn't beat her anymore. She even referred to him as a little pissant now that she's become Swamp-Thing-Junior.

Man, Poison Ivy sure sounds boring.

Funny how obvious it becomes when people who have no idea what the character they are arguing against is capable of, actually attempt to argue against them.

Ivy for the win. 😉

Sounds to me more like the character of Ivy (who I haven't followed recently) was just ruined by bad writing. Must every DC character become ridiculously overpowered these days?

Are you seriously saying that the works of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are PIS?!? 🤨

They may be the greats, but Stan Lee IS PIS incarnate. He invented it. 😛.

How about Cannonball? Can he take on Human Torch?

Wow, this is a curbstomp in team two's favor.

With ease

Intellect and teamwork will win every time. FF for the win.

Ivy is not undefeatable. (sue's forcefields are far more powerful and dangerious, what can ivy do if she's cut up in ten pieces and kept in seperate containers?)

Fire can defeat Clayface (he won't be able to change shape, roasted into a brick)

Reed is more malliable than Medusa (and faaaaar more intellegent and he can plan on the fly)

the Thing can knock out Cannonball . (lesser heroes and villians have done it b4)

Ivy IS unkillable. You can't store her in ten separate containers unless you plan on storing ALL THE PLANT LIFE ON EARTH in ten separate containers.

What about this aren't you getting?

Eventually Sue will get tired of holding the forcefields, and BAM, ivy makes the spores inside sue's body grow into fifty foot tall oaks. With Sue wrapped around them.

I said defeatable not killable. I specifically say in diffrent containers because that is precisely how Swamp Thing was defeated once.
