Sentry not Void is a high herald that can be koed or put to sleep/controlled by high end telepaths. Virtue and Vice Despero was durable enough to withstand attacks from multiple top tiers and strong enough to throw them around like rag dolls. On top of that hes one of the strongest telepaths in the DCU. The question should be how the hell does Bob who jobs solo?

Also killing Despero is pretty tough he was able to survive as only a head via Starro decapitation

If he messes with Bob's mind he has a better chance of bringing out void then putting him to sleep. Bob has high end matter manipulation that he brings to the fight

Examples of him being put to sleep isn't needed but his mind has been tampered with by telepaths on multiple occasions. Not saying he cant just saying he wont in character hes going to fly in and get punched to mars
