The Bible doesn't say whether God hates or loves Satan, so it's a thinker... Looking at Job, God doesn't seem to hate Satan, allowing him some freedom, but it is obvious from the Bible that Satan will not be forgiven. However, why that is, is not answered either, it seems that either Satan committed the single unforgiveable sin, or will not ask for mercy, although I think the former more likely. So while I'm convinced that God does not hate Satan for the above reasons, I'm not convinced that God loves him either, basically an acknowledgement of his existence with no emotion attached to that existence other than when he tempts his beloved creations...

I think it's best looked at more from a context of spirituality.Christianity puts itself in the funniest posistions.I guess,to me,within a Christian context, it is best looked at like this:The devil would not be hated by God.The devil would in fact be,the total absence of god. This takes him out of his general context as a demonized version of Pan or out of a physical context for the most part.It puts him back in an moral, emotionalstate of mind.Where the devil is not represented by any physical descreption. This would inturn lead me to belive the devil is actualy the worst part of are inner most conscience, which still is not completling lacking of god, therefore leaving me to belive their is in fact,no devil which to hate or despise.Only big love for one another.

Or maybe i'm just full of crap!

I would think so if we go by the definition of Godly love in Corinthians 13:1-13.
So yes I would believe that he always perseveres, always hopes, and always takes on much suffering with with the hope that all of those who hate him change. Still, God is not naive nor is he totalitarian - so I'm sure he knows that some people will never change, nor will he force them to.

Well, it is interesting that you have not put me in any negative category. Anyhoo, I will not attack you, ignore you, or debate with. Let's just say that I will respond to you. Unfortunately, lord xyz the Bible says nothing about whether God loves the devil. However, the Bible does reveal what God intends to do with the devil in the future. However, what you must realize about God is that although He is Love, Personified, that does not imply, hint, or suggest that He will shirk His responsibility as Righteous Judge. God must judge sinners, including angels who have sinned. Judgment does not negate love. In fact, judgment is an expression of love. If God was not Love then He would let sinners (including the devil) go unpunished forever. The very fact that God will hold all sinners accountable for their actions (to make sure that no one gets away with anything) demonstrates just How holy and loving He is, and how serious He is about righting all the wrongs that have taken place in His universe since time immemorial. Glory to God! Settling up day is coming! Don't ever think that just because someone got away with murder so to speak in this lifetime that they will get continue to escape judgment, they cannot escape God. Their day is coming. I heard someone say,
"The wheels of judgment grind ever so slowly, but ever so finely."
That means that it may seem as though God is dilatory in exercising judgment (this is evidentiary of the mercy, grace, and longsuffering of God) but it is not indicative of God’s lack of desire to execute righteous judgment. God is just being patient with all people because He wants everyone to have an opportunity to repent of their sins. God takes no pleasure in condemning people. God is exactly the opposite. It is as though God can never be right in so many people’s eyes. If He doesn’t judge someone immediately then people conclude that God doesn’t care. They ask all kinds of questions about why God let such and such happen, without understanding how He operates. Then when God does seemingly bring judgment many people accuse God of being vengeful, angry, and unjust. This simply is not fair. Nevertheless, God answers to no one, and He will have the last word. My God does not accept bribes nor does He accept plea bargains. God is holy and He will settle the scales. He will hold ever person who has ever lived responsible for their sins, including all of the angels that joined the devil's rebellion against God. So, you ask whether God loves the devil? The answer is: there is no salvation for angels who have sinned against God. Jesus came to save humanity from their sins (that is why He had to be born of a virgin, so that He (i.e. God) could have a physical body that He could offer up as a sacrifice for the sins of the world). But the devil and angels are not human so their sins have no remission. Besides they have no excuse for their sins. They have seen God face to face. They didn’t have a tempter (i.e. devil) tempting them to commit sin as such. They were not born sinners like we were. So whether God loves the devil or not, is a misplaced question that does not have any validity. The point is there is no forgiveness for satan. The devil knew exactly what he was doing when he tried to usurp God and His throne (I don’t know what the devil was thinking or how he thought that he was going to pull that one off). I want to go on record as saying that anyone who follows the devil is a fool of fools. How is a created being going to overcome the One Who created him? The devil, his angels, the beast, the false prophet, and anyone else whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. Well, how do I get my name in the Lamb's Book of life you ask? Simple: Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God. The Lamb's Book of Life is a comprehensive record of every person who has confessed Jesus Christ as Lord (in essence it is a register of ever person who has asked Jesus Christ to save him/her of their sins). If you have never asked Jesus Christ for forgiveness for your sins then at the Judgment when you stand before Jesus Christ (the Righteous Judge) there will be a formal proceeding. Your whole life will be displayed before you in a moment of time. Every thought, every word, and every action that you have ever committed will be judged against the standard of the Word of God (i.e. the Bible). The result of this analysis will reveal that you are sinner based on whether or not you have ever sinned (and you have, we all have). But the gospel (which means "good news"😉 is that if your name is in the Lamb's Book of Life, then every sin that you have ever committed in thought, word, or deed throughout your lifetime has been washed by the Blood of Jesus Christ. However, if you have never asked to be forgiven of all your sins then when you stand before Jesus Christ, His angel will go through all the motions as it were and he will check to see if your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. But your name will not be found. I said all that to say this: the devil's name will not be found in the Lamb's Book of Life, his angels' names will not be found there, the beast (i.e. the antichrist) will not be found there, the false prophet will not be found written there, and anyone else who has not confessed Jesus Christ as Lord. Furthermore, the Bible reveals that God hates evil. The devil is evil personified (the devil is still a personal devil but he is so wicked that he is the icon for evil as well). So I believe that God hates the devil. The devil has done nothing except steal, kill, and destroy innocent men, women, and children since the Garden of Eden. He is behind all cults, incest, kidnapping, pedophilia, rape, heinous murder, terrorism, and the like. No, the devil does not make anyone do anything, but he is the chief instigator. The devil is the tempter. The devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He is not a roaring lion but the statement describes his continual, wicked , and evil mind-state. He is a malevolent spirit being that hates God and people. Yes, the devil hates you too. He does not care if you worship him and sacrifice animals or people to him. The devil hates you exceedingly and he is the epitome of evil. God is not just the epitome of good, love, holiness, righteousness, and so forth, these adjectives describe WHO HE IS, HIS VERY NATURE AND ESSENCE. So, yes God hates the devil because God hates evil.
Meh, I always thought that God loved Satan still, but because Satan was not truly sorry for his sins and did not renounce them he could never be forgiven, and therefore would forever alienate himself.
But then, I was a Catholic and I haven't been to Church in about thirteen years, so I could be way off.
