Still filler 😬, so we can't really know for sure.

Was the movie even canon for that matter, or was it something that actually happened not too long after Battle City? I'm under the impression that it's not, since that's how it is with movies in most cases.

Though yeah, the Eye made him really powerful. I think he only lost to Yami & Bakura???

If you leave out Kaiba and Mai, then yeah. The Bakura part was unfair for Pegasus though.

BTW, was Kaiba the world champion, or the japanese champion at the start of the second series?

Yeah, no surprise there.

I think it was "International" or something like that.

Correct.

And yeah. Y'all had Rex and Weevil mixed up there at first. Rex was never a champion of anything from what I recall. At least not anything that had matched Weevil's former status.

Yea I keep thinking Rex was the champ in the anime. Not sure why.

I don't think the movie was canon. Kaiba never uses BESD again when he could have.
On a side note, Kaiba could have won so many times, pity he decided to humiliate Yami. Also, the writers made quite a few mistakes (in the english version) there's also one mistake that exists in the Jap version.

Kaiba from the movie and Mai from Waking the Dragons? That was filler, and the movie most likely non-canon.
True.

It was a question >.<

Oh, forgot to add in that part.

Yeah, he was world champion.

I was always amused at how Yami was able to beat Noah with a large handicap. Though Yami using Blue Eyes was just wrong.

Yea the last ep of Waking the Dragons I seen was like the ep after Yugi's soul is taken. So I didn't get far.

it's kind of a spoiler but..what the hey. the last card duel has dartz special summon a monster with both infinite attack and defense points, only drawback is that he has to ditch 25 cards to the graveyard per turn/or attack (iirc)

And Dartz had to sacrifice all of his life points in order to summon it ^^, though you'd think he'd just automatically win the duel with a monster that has infinite attack and defense points, like with Exodia because he has infinite att. and def. too when you manage to get all 5 pieces together IIRC.

I don't think Exodia has infinite atk/def. He's never even summoned to the field in the first place. His effect activates when he's in the hand.

The anime turning it into infinite atk/def was crap 😛...and Exodia coudn't even hurt Zorc 313

Well, that's pretty much the only explanation as to how a duelist automatically wins when they manage to get all 5 pieces in their hand. Exodia Necross is cooler anyway.

Of course not. I wasn't expecting him to since the Egyptian Gods couldn't either without fusing together.

Meh, I dunno. It doesn't even attack in the first place.

True, he was powerful in the anime. Exodios, was less cooler...Amon Garam makes me hate it because he used it >.<

Isn't Exodia more powerful than any of the 3 gods on their own though?

Ironically, no he isn't. When Ishizu Ishtar first made mention of the God Cards (to Kaiba at least), she claimed them to be stronger than Exodia.

That could be true, then again, it was a claim.

Also, in the actual game, Exodia is more powerful, given that he guarantees an automatic win when completed.

I have a pretty good deck. My special cards wuld hav to be -
Blue Eyes White Dragon - strongest monster
Dark Magician Girl - favorite card in the game
Red Eyes black chick- so I can summon
Red Eyes Black Dragon - so I can summon (but its pretty cool to 😄)
Red Eyes Darkness Dragon - AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I have Rageki Break, Hyozanru, Blizzzard Dragon, and tons of other low level strong and cool cards 🙂

I'm going to be having a duel soon

Hope for me 😊 !!!

Ha ha .... and how accurate is the Anime with the REAL game???

True, but the Egyptian Gods did still last a lot longer against Zorc than Exodia. Granted, they were only able to slow down Zorc for awhile individually, but that's a lot more than what Exodia managed to do against him.

Have all those, and then some. 😛

Doesn't matter. Exodia's power doesn't surpass the Gods' regardless.

That's not what i'd call a pretty good deck but have fun.

That is true. Though Exodia was powered by that guy who looks like Yugi's Grandfather (the name of the 'guy' escapes me atm) That's one reason why most people think Exodia couldn't do well against Zorc.

BEWD did better than all 4 monsters though 313.

Though mixing up all those normal monster archetypes won't go so well.
Also, double-posting is a nono on this board.

I reckoned it was because Zorc is a creature of darkness and Blue-Eyes is a light attribute monster, so... yeah.

Ra is too for that matter if I recall correctly. In which case, he should've done better against Zorc (more-so than Obelisk and Slifer at least).

Indeed. 😬

All three gods are Divine-Type.

Ah. Forgot that was even a type in Duel Monsters. facepalm I just remember hearing/reading somewhere before that Ra was light, Slifer is dragon, and Obelisk is warrior, which makes complete sense given their characteristics, but meh. They are what they are I guess.

edit: I'll bet Pegasus probably wanted to make toon versions of them at first, but didn't in the end because he knew what might happen if he angers the Gods. 131

That was a video game I think.
