Hey guys, as much as I know it's mostly in jest.....finding 1 showing, declaring the person banned without any sort of authorization or discussion, and monopolizing the thread with posts could collectively be considered spam.
Reign it in, and work on promoting discussion....not instigating witch-hunts for anyone you didn't pick....because crap like this insane paranoia every time we sneeze is what makes drafts come to a screeching halt and get people pissy about tourneys.

actually NO ONE has been banned yet. goob's the only person who gets to decide that i'm afraid . . .
and i'm guessing anyone who was up-front and didn't 'hide' anything from goob when characters were getting ok'd BEFORE the draft, will NOT be being banned any time soon . . . 😉

vision is a tricky bastard. and for the record -- he CAN attack while phased. he can still use his solar beams when he's phased, and i'm not sure they are at all weakened.
healing factor? i get the concern, but that would be a tough thing to limit. where do we draw lines? 😬 unless anyone has some good suggestions . . .

As for the healing factor I know it would be tricky but i would rather do that then see someone like Deadpool get in and no one can kill him you know what I mean.
Ok people check it out. I can see the threat that the Vision poses, but I've seen quite a few of his appearances, and he's never struck me as being all that powerful in comparison to someone like Iron Man. Don't get me wrong, Vision's probably got Tony beat when it comes to usefulness in 1 on 1 combat scenarios, and because of that he'd probably win a battle between the two. But you have to take into consideration that as far as sheer destructive potential Tony strait up blows Vision out of the water. Tony can raze multiple city blocks in a matter of moments which is WAY out of Vision's league. And even though that kind of thing isn't as useful in a tournament scenario it HAS to be taken into consideration when gauging Tony's power level. In my mind that puts Tony just about even with Vision as far as overall power goes. So unless someone has something to show Vision as being to powerful as opposed to being to hard to beat, I can't really see a reason to bar him.
By the same token, I still haven't seen anything from Spiral to suggest that she'd be unacceptable either. I know she's got a history of taking on numerous opponents simultaneously, but I can recall several occasions when she had her hands full with a single opponents (Beast, Longshot, and I think Wolverine also just to name a few). Is she a tough opponent to beat? Yes. But doing so isn't really out of the question for someone like Tony or Storm if they're willing to go all out.
Cable however is a special case. I'm reserving my decision on him until I talk with the person who wants him, because I'm all but positive that there's been a mix up regarding which version he's wanting to use.
