UNOFFICIAL lineup seeding. (now that LP is in)
nobody should feel 'down' cause their a 12 seed. Between 6 and 12, it was pretty much random, or no real big gap in tourney experience and prowess...but it doesn't matter - it's all about planning, being a good debator, having appropiate scans/facts and having the best overall team in the long run. So everyone has a chance, right?

2 Blair Wind
3 leonidas
4 long pig
5 Newjack
6 Entity
7 King Kandy
8 Trickster
9 devil lance
10 martian_mind
11 roldz
12 Joey Stacks
The matches will most likely be random, maybe not it depends on how goob want to do it. After round one another seeding might take place, the top two 'best' losers will move on, this will be decided with process of eliminating the most obvious 'worse' losers and so forth with the systems mentioned above...it wont be that hard to figure out who the best 2 out of 6 are anyhow.
Nothing much else until right before the tourney starts.

Hmm... the 'best losers' may not actually be the 'best losers'😐
I mean, just because they have a close match doesn't mean they're better than a team that got stomped, they just got a slightly less tough opponent.
Like earlier, there should be a system that I think both judges should vote for the best 2 on all accounts, (maybe it was mentioned somewhere in the thread) you're right...the question is, on what stipulations do you judge that?

how can it be seeded AND random . . .? 😕
like I said unofficial seedings by tourney exp for fun and whatnot just to see how the matches would turn out, then do random matches - or, the thing could be officially implemented into what i had earlier, a bracket system and all that going strictly by seeding pairs into divisions (small ones since it's a 12 man thing).
Do any of you ever go on a site called Bix? we could have a similar system to pic the best designed/best looking amalgam.

That was Death Metal that punked AF Mungi, not DHII. But (since you probably weren't thinking of that), I have yet to see anyone provide a legit argument why he's over any caps. I know as much about him as anyone, and can vouch for him as an incredibly solid but not illegal pick.
In an amalgam, he'll be solid as hell. But individually, he's within the limits. Collectively, with all of his powers, he would likely beat IM the majority of times, but it wouldn't be easy (especially since he can't fly and doesn't have a built-in forcefield, just some good healing).

Digi has a crush on DH II ... he's hardly impartial.😛
But I'm also not in the tourney, and remain as unbiased as possible, even with people I converse with a lot like yourself.
Besides, speculation isn't really getting far. I'd be happy to discuss it with someone if they can provide more than heresay.
I think the 1st round should be random draw (pull from a hat). After the winners and losers are discerned the 2 losers who lost by the smallest margin (meaning that they either lost by a 2-1 judge margin and won/lost the popular [poll] vote by a larger/smaller margin than the other 4 losing characters, or if all lost unanimously, simply by poll margins) moves on.
In round 2 the seeding could be like the NBA Playoffs. The winners from Round 1 are seeded in order of margin of victory (Sum of judge votes and poll margin). Then the matches in round two would be:
1st Seed Vs. 8th Seed (2nd best Loser)
2nd Seed Vs. 7th Seed (1st best Loser)
3rd Seed Vs. 6th Seed
4th Seed Vs. 5th Seed

Death's Head II punked the X-Men, oh yeah I know who he is as I have many comics about him as well. He was virtually invulnerable, immune to psi-bolts from Psylocke, immune from Rogue's absorption touch as she went crazy doing it, etc.
