Well then...
The minute that follows is a chaotic one of flailing sentinels, lightning discharges and soft flesh being slashed apart by unyielding metal.
Finn is trying to rec-connect the destroyed power lines as Barb and Melis try to cover him- a near impossible chance against the gaping hole, made marginally easier when some sentinels crawl off to try and eat San instead.
The sides of the Shez are shattered but for now, the sentinels concetrate on killing the humans that have come to stop them. More drop in from above, on both ships, to the broadcast area, where your defenceless friends need saving.
Percy's cockpit is intact, but the one on the Shez is a nightmare of broken windshield, controls, sentinels crawling in, and Dallas fighting back and yelling at Sequel.
"Cut the power links to the lower engine array!" Dallas is yelling over the intercom. Sequel is arguing back- that it's too late for that now, that if it is cut the lower array won't come back on-line any time soon; that perhaps fixing things mighrt be a better idea than hacking bits off the ship right now, but Dallas ignores him.
Some fifteen seconds later the engines overload on the Shez and half of them explode.
What happened inside those fifteen seconds is important.
"Got one!" Dallas had said. "Outer edge, full speed, Sequel. Get us there pretty damn quick!"
"But it's..." begins Sequel. "OH..." And for once, he shuts up.
Marduk, although not able to steer properly, seems to be able to get a final burst of engine power, as the Percy races forwards and pulls up alongside the Shez.
Both ships race through the air, the hive-like swarms of sentinels chasing behind, looking like the tendrils of a fearsome beast.. Having raced into the power plant both sips are now racing out.
Dallas has directed the ships to one particular tower near the outer edge. Well, two towers really- his target is the gap between them.
Just ss the ships reach the gap, one of the giant electrcitiy discharges that regularly connect the two towers goes off. The lightning blast conducts easily bwtween both ships, which are struck full-on.
All of you are wrenched violently to the ground as electricity courses through the ships.
It is as this point that the engines explode, and the mass release of electrical energy at this point feeds back into the two towers either side.
The towers don't explode as such, but it sounds like they did. As the towers themselves overload, a huge amout of power is released, and suddenly the whole area is caught in the grip of an electric storm.
At which point both ships plunge out of control, everyone takes fifteen damage, and everyone loses consciousness.
Melis.
You awake to two things that alarm you somewhat.
First, is that the area directly in front of you seems to be on fire, though not very much.
Second, that a sentinel arm seems to be repeatedly poking you.
Oh, and third is that you seem to be bound in a way that makes it hard for you to move.

Fire and Hawk- you are trapped in the port section of the ship, where a partial collapse has sealed you off. You are fairly sure the ship has landed, but you have asolutely no light.
