Balder reluctantly lays his guns down on the ground, visibly angry over having to give in to the Hunter.

"Oh, Berserker, as a mere mortal you wouldn`t be able to understand Qi`s unlimited wisdom anyway!' -Melkor bitterly throws his weapons to the Hunter, still not being to regain his normal composure.

"Have it your way, abomination! Do what you want with us...."

"You know Melkor I probably won't but he can at least try."

"By the way I get some huge idea that we still have a lot of time ahead of us despite what Lo Qi says."

Sirin tosses down her remaining pistols and takes the UMP off her back, letting it all clatter uselessly to the ground.

"Better do as he says," Klez orders, dropping his pistols by just opening his hands.

Melkor drops his weapons.

Heph has nothing to drop, and therefore does nothing, his arms still crossed.

"Lo Qi, of all of us, why did you tell the Hunter the names of myself and Azrael?" Heph asks while everyone tosses down their weapons. It is painstakingly obvious that Heph is infuriated, both with their current captors and himself for opening the Door, but he is doing his best not to explode and do something completely foolish.

I've doomed Mankind and my friends! Heph thinks to himself, bitterly. Oh, Dallas is NOT going to be happy about this one...

Helios relieves himself of his shotgun.

Azrael places the guns in his arms upon the floor.
"Melkor, there is no need to get angry," He says, "Best we work out our options amiably."
He turns to Lo Qi.
"If we leave the Matrix, will this 'virus' still affect us?"

"Can we survive if we understand that the disease is illusion?"- Melkor follows Azrael`s question, trusting his experience.

"That's a ridiculous notion," Klez says, his eyes flicking to Melkor. "That'd be like surviving fatal gunshots."

"Perhaps not," Azrael responds, "If the effect is indeed like Lo Qi describes."

"Yes, we don`t even have prove that he is telling the truth!"- Melkor tries to find some hope. -"What are the symptoms of disease, Lo Qi?"

"It isn't an illusion," says Lo Qi. "The virus in your bodies is very real. Once you are infected, that is it. It is routed into your real-world bodies and is as real as anything within there. Oh, and I didn't say anything about your names."

"Az/ral. Heph/as/tus/. I/know/you. I/know/you/will/ne/ver/give/up. you/will/fight/un/til/the/end. that/is/why/I/will/take/your/weap/ons. and/your/phones/"

"So you want us to give up and die?!"

"no. mere/ly/to/make/your/eff/orts/fu/tile."

"He is very direct, this one," says Lo Qi. "But I bow to his experience in tactical matters. I needed him to bypass the barrier to the Door. Unfortunatel,y by the time I made contacxt with him, the key had already been stolen. So I had to send him to get the key. He traced it to the same place he met you."

"What efforts?"- Melkor throws his question like an accusation.

"as/I/say/ no/a/mount/of/log/ic/will/con/vince/these/ones/to/stop/res/ist/ing."

"You didn`t give us any logic.....And I refuse to die. What do you want us to stop resisting? We have surrendered. Do you have anything to offer besides death?"- He continues to stare at the Hunter.

"the/lo/gic/is/that/you/are/doomed."

"Of course," says Lo Qi, "someone in such an unusual position as the Hunter many not quite appreicate your fear of death," says Lo Qi.
