"I/was/wrong/heph/as/tus. hu/man/it/y/can/win/this/war."

Berserker think to himself wow this is alsmot like a Soap Opera.

Azrael toys with his phone, his eyes widening as the Hunter/Jericho speaks.
"How?" he asks. "How to two things: you, reincarnated in this new form, and us, winning this war?

"Do you still fight for Zion?"

"I/am/the/final/jer/ich/o. the/last/sur/vi/vor. /and/think/az/ral. with/the/mat/rix/des/troy/ed/the/mach/ine/so/ci/et/y/will/crum/ble. /zi/on/will/be/come/the/dom/in/ant/pow/er/in/the/world. we/will/win/the/war."

"I see how he finds it possible," Heph says to Azrael. "Once the Virus spreads and kills all of mankind within the Matrix...the Machines will have no power source..."

Heph awaits Jericho's response as well.

"It seems a logical solution," Azrael agrees, and then falls silent, thinking.

"Well I guess that explains why he was able to get by the fire wall and why he doesn't interact with the deletion program so well."

No it doesn't...

Really I thought the fact that he was a former human kind of screwed things up. Oh well if it isn't then I've been wrong before 😛

Technically speaking the being you are talking to was never Human; that would make little sense.

Melkor was silent, since he doesn`t know much of the experiences Heph and Azrael had with Jericho.

"How it happened that you are the last survivor? And I have heard that you were serving one called Melitus. What happened with Melitus?"

"the/a/gents/had/no/aut/thor/it/y/o/ver/him. but/all/else/was/des/troyed/by/them."

"Why? I was told that you were working for the System.

So you tried to avoid destruction by the Agents, yes?"

Who told you that?

(I remember it was mentioned in the philosophy jornal thread that Melitus was working for the System, though it wasn`t apparent at first.... But I haven`t read all the other threads.)

Well, we can say that Melkor is confused.

Well then that is an issue best answered by one of the players at the time...

Yeah, Jericho wasn't working for the system. He had decided the best way to continue the fight against the system was to abandon human bodies and clone himself (and his crew) into the Matrix. This meant that although he could die, a copy of himself would return to continue the fight.

And now he just can't die at all...

"I was always confused about that," Heph says. "Why didn't the Agents have authority over Melitus? What was Melitus' purpose?"

"I don't recall Jericho being bandaged head-to-toe," Klez says. "How did that come about? What happened to your coding?"

"the/fact/or/y/was/an/A/I/birth/ing/suite. new/copies/were/stored/and/re/leased/when/the/pre/vi/ous/cop/y/was/des/troyed. the/a/gents/laid/waste/to/the/fa/cil/ity/y/e/ven/as/we/fought/them. each/time/one/of/us/died/we/were/rep/laced/un/til/the/a/gents/des/troyed/the/cre/a/tion/fac/il/it/ies. i/am/the/last/cop/y/of/jer/i/cho. i/was/in/the/pro/cess/of/be/ing/formed/when/the/fa/cil/it/y/was/des/troyed. my/life/sig/nals/were/ex/tinct."

The Hunter takes off his veil, and starts. very slowly, to unwrap the bandages around his face.

"des/troy/ing/the/suite/caused/mas/sive/dis/rup/tion/dur/ing/my/birth. there/was/no/life/left. yet/in/the/mal/func/tion/my/mind/sur/vived/and/I/was/brought/in/to/the/ma/trix/in/this/form."

He takes off some of the bandages- underneath is horrible malformed burnt pulsing mess.
