USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FOURTH ASSIGNMENT (PHILOSOPHY)- 'The Door'

"How are you going to get out of the Matrix, then?" Heph asks. "And will we still be afflicted if we get out?"

"So what you are saying is that with this new found power loss the machines will all turn to you for salvation. Are there any that would still stand against you?"

"So this is trully the end of humankind?"- Melkor seems to lose hope, noticing that there is no way they can convince Sennacherib to help them.

"So from the theoretical point of view, you couldn`t have stopped the Virus even if you wanted to?"

"None of any significant number. Especially now they are confronted with a fait accompli. And I shall leave via the transit to the Source, which is the standard means for Machines to leave or enter the Matrix. Legitimately, anyway."

"So from the theoretical point of view, you couldn`t have stopped the Virus even if you wanted to?"

"As I say, the Virus was designed to be unstoppable. But you have my thanks for bringing me the good news."

"And what will happen with Machines we know as Oracle and Lo Qi?"

Heph scowls.

"There has to be a flaw somewhere. He can't be invincible."

"Well, he is not invincible. The death of the Matrix is his death. But he is unstoppable in any practical sense as you mean it. There is nothing that will destroy him and he will continue until he is done.

"Lo Qi will die. He will not be allowed to use the transit after this. As for the 'Oracle', I cannot help thinking she has probably prepared an escape route. She is, after all, very talented at planning ahead."

"So you are certain that this thing has no view of self. Because he was sure willing to call something Father when we let it out."

"No view of his own self value, I said. That is very different. So your comment changes little."

"And what with us? It is ironic that you told us how to delay our death.... even cruel from a certain point of view."

"My advice was offered freely. I know how Humans value their lives. You tend to cling onto them."

"Yes we do, we are fragile.

So if your goal was to protect Matrix, you would be powerless at this point?"

"I bet though if it would bring Victory you would gladly lay yours down right? By way I would thank for your advice on our health."

"Oh no. My life is too important for securing victory in perpetuity. But the purity of the solider attracts me as a concept.

"It seems an irrelevant question, Melkor. Why would I possibly have designed the Virus with any kind of weakness?"

"Well, it had a weakness because System overcame it in first place, so you designed it inperfectly.

Well, our plan was to get your help against the Virus, because we were assured that without Matrix Machines lose the war. But now our assumption fails, at last according to you."

"They delayed it, they did not stop it, and now they cannot even do that. And yes, that assumption was absolutely incorrect. Losing the Matrix is in fact the spur for Humanity's extinction. As I always planned."

"So it is just the matter of Jericho and Lo Qi making false calculations regarding the military power of Machines and Zion?"

"You won't have enough power to rival the fleet of Zion if you end the Matrix."

"As I say. It's not important."
