He DIDN'T. The very reason Sentry passed out was cos he couldn't handle what he was doing, fact. Hulk had the ability to return and, not only keep fighting, but to kill. Where was Sentry? Nowhere, but Bob was there. Why? Cos SENTRY couldn't keep it up. Hulk could, proven by the fact that he was there. Sentry didn't get knocked out, he passed out. It wasn't like he was doing fine and Hulk knocked him out (Which would have been a win), it was him throwing everything at Hulk, and passing out. HE DEFINITELY did NOT have the energy left, Hulk did.
The very reason Sentry reverted to Bob was because he ran out of the energy you claimed he still had.

In conclusion: You're all jackasses.
But, srsly... it's not a big deal. If it's brought up in the forums, the difference in this scenario between a stalemate and a win is so minimal it doesn't matter.
Because, anybody with better durability or higher levels of energy than Sentry would've won, basically. Especially if they didn't have a non-powered form to revert to...
As for the comic, they ended it as peaceably as possible. That is, peace for the Hulk haters and Hulk wankers.
I mean, no one REALLY thought this was going to end with Sentry/Thor/Black Bolt (it would have been beautiful... schmoll ) beating Hulk into the ground, did they?
