It's not all Marvel, and it's just a writer.
I love how X-Men's box office success has caused a lot of possibly great on-goings to come off the shelves, due to spin-offs of spin-offs and millions of X-Variations, nobody moans.
Hulk beats Sentry and there's an exodus.
That's not aimed at anyone, by the way.

What exactly are you whining about?
Two guys ditching comics (because an idiot makes Marvel job) = Thousands of people ditching Marvel?

This still makes me not want to read comics anymore. I mean they always stretched the imagination, but most of them followed some sort of continuity. Sentry should have beaten Hulk in one panel using his full power, and the power of a million exploding suns can blow up a building only? WOW! Fu*k Hulk... oh wait, he was really mad, that must mean he gets the power of a BILLION exploding suns... I already know two ppl who are close to giving up on comics altogether because of this one act.

Two guys aren't ditching comics, and WD didn't even say he was actually ditching Marvel, nor was I accusing anyone of such.
Not even specifically to Hulk/Sentry. It's just dumb reactions, the dumbest reactions you might say, come from so-called "comic fans".
In my opinion, ditching Marvel because someone did something you don't like, to A character, is silly. There are many other writers and many other characters.

House of M...Spider Clones...Death of Colossus...Tom DeFalco left in 94...Microchip gets kill by Punisher....too many cancellations of some books...just to name a few.
I did however re-visited in the late nighties with Marvel Knights series. Then when all the movies came out..I disconected. Too many bandwagon fans trying to change things because of the movies. I'm sure they still offer great things...I just don't see myself going back at this time. The future? maybe...

You claim that they missed continuity in the sentry hulk fight. What comics have been without continuity issues?
