Wow, Cyclops' max has been downgraded a lot since Civil war. It'll be interesting to see how that fight plays out.I think Shadowcat could help out Wolverine and Colossus a little more though. I mean, when she sees Hulk raise his fist and charge up his über smash, she could just touch Colossus and make him intangible.

in civil war: x-men, cyke's max was likened to nuclear warhead level power. blackbolt's scream is certainly far more powerful, but i don't think a mere whisper has the same continuous output level as cyclops fully unleashed. hulk even appeared to be taking more physical damage in the scene against cyke than he was in the single panel against blackbolt's scream. so, there isn't really bias in saying cyke's got a shitload of power streaming out of his face.
regardless, the fact that there were still trees around them for wolverine to be punched through seems to indicate that cyke's power level isn't being played up nearly as much as his "maximum power" was in times past. the guy's repowered the equivalent of a sun, put out ridiculous levels of pure force in civil war: x-men, and destroyed a sentinel and a huge area of forest just by taking off his visor. llagrok's saying he's being downplayed isn't biased or wrong; and saying he wants namor to beat up anybody or everybody doesn't make him a hypocrite.

Umm . . . the Hulk appearing in WWH is essentially a new character created solely for WWH. Basically WWH exists to establish the power level of this new character.

Actually the on-panel was Hulk taking BlackBolt's whisper, it didn't show the panel where he supposedly screamed.
In regards to Kitty phasing out Scott from the Hulk's grip, Hulk could have crushed his head in an instant before Kitty leapt over if he wanted to but did not do it. That shows that the Hulk was being nice about it, just like he was when he fought the younger mutants earlier on.
This is different than previous iterations of Hulk in that his control over his physical power is far better than it ever was in the past.

Then explain to me how Cyclops took down a sentinel and leveled half their forest in astonishing x-men, yet now his blast hardly had any affect on the surroundings at all? IF Cyclops did go max, he would kill himself, just like he was about to do in Civil War.
I said I would love seeing Namor plow through the x-men, yes, yes I did. How is that relevant? We're not debating on whether or not I'm a fanboy, we're debating on whether or not Cyclops was downplayed, which he was.
