I agree with Frued on some issues, the rest is still up in the air with me. Formation reaction isn't a universal law, it doesn't apply all the time, and the guy probably likes messing with me, moreso then "likes me" likes me. But, it's a good way to make someone shy away (if you sense they would be shy about it), it's a cute tactic sometimes, the over use of it sounds vain.
