That actually has nothing discriminatory in it.

he's preaching the superiority of one faith over all others and does nothing but proscelitize. My people view proscelitism as an act of bigotry and hostility.

I am preaching Jesus. I cannot help that Jesus is superior to all other gods. That is not my fault.

You sound like one of the priest in the temple that Jesus scorned. All I hear is arrogance.

Psalm 106:34-38
They did not destroy the peoples,
Concerning whom the LORD had commanded them,
But they mingled with the Gentiles
And learned their works;
They served their idols,
Which became a snare to them.
They even sacrificed their sons
And their daughters to demons,
And shed innocent blood,
The blood of their sons and daughters,
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood.

Demons are the invisible, malignant influence behind the worship of idols (literal, actual objects of worship). However an idol can encompass anything that is worshipped. Some cultures worshipped astronomical objects (stars, planets, the sun, the moon, etc.). Other nations worshipped earthly things (trees, the rain, the sky, birds, fish, animals in general, insects, other people, etc.). Nowadays people worship things like money, gold, diamonds, jewelry, cars, fame, power, status, etc. But demons are still the hidden presence behind the temptation to worship anyone or anything other than God Almighty. These demons know how to give these 21st century idols a harmless semblance and appeal. That is why God tells us in His Word not to love the world or the things in the world.

Do you mean idols like a cross, or the bible, or a man named Jesus? Those are all idols.

Invisible demons do not exist, and because I do not believe in demons, they do not have power over me. However, I would bet that your belief in then gives them power over you.

Mortal means "subject to death." Jesus Christ in not subject to death any longer; therefore, Jesus Christ is not mortal.

I'm surprised the "son of God" could die in the first place!

He could once He became a Man suffering for our sins. Remember: the Bible states that the wages of "sin" is death. Death is the effect of sin. Jesus never sinned, but He became the object of God's wrath against sin, He became the scapegoat as it were Who died for our sins. God punished the wages of our sin in His Son.

So Jesus was capable of dying the moment that our sins were transferred to Him for payment. That is why Jesus is called the "Lamb of God." (Read up on the Passover, it symbollically foreshadows the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sins).

You worship a cross and a book. It seems that this fact is too much for you to face.

I believe that I worship a Person (i.e. Jesus Christ).

I read, study, meditate on (i.e. think about), memorize, speak, practice, and obey the Word of God (i.e. the Bible)--but I do not believe that I worship it.

I don't own a crosses.

Would it upset you if I burned a bible and stuck a cross in a vat of urine?

I would be irked by that manuever because the Bible is the Word of God and God's Word should not be burned. God gave us His Word to educate and inform humanity about His Will.

The fact that you could even think up such ridiculous scenarios speaks volumes.

The only thing it speaks is a test of your weakness. I would never burn a bible because it would not make a good fire. You are attached to the bible in the same way a person would be attached to an idol. Therefore, the bible is your idol.

I do not believe that the Bible is my idol. I have already described to you what an idol is.

The Bible is not the "object" of worship or a "false god." So, the Bible does not fit that description nor yours no matter how much regard that I have for my Heavenly Father's Word.
