Is it because he's dead? Or you feel an obligation to Johnny Cash? If you do just like the song, fair enough, but to me personally it sounds like a zombie getting bed-bathed.

They are both great versions of the song, in my opinion. I don't like it just because he's dead, but its just.....just a different flavor of the song.

I prefer NIN's though. Trent's lyrics seem more moving when he sings it.

I like Wild Horses by The Sundays over The Rolling Stones version of the song.
