can;t someone just collapse sol into a black hole with superman in the thing? or just make it prematurely go into it's red phase?
The better question is who can do it before an exponentially amped Supes abuses him/her/it? And Superman would escape the blackhole.

We are talking about a Superman who is getting amped in the Core of the Sun. He will be getting healed, and at the same time getting his strgoner, faster, more durable..etc

SS will melt into a puddle of liquid inside the sun.
Silver Surfer, has already absorbed an entire Star before (Instantly, and received a power boost from all the energy in the Star) and survived with one, while casually chatting with Thor (Yes, Thor also was in the Star unharmed).
He could go to the core, absorb all the Solar radiation in the vicinity and kick the crap out of Clark. Or he could simply absorb the entire Star, and the energy inside Clark's body as well, leaving him powerless (If Starfire can do it to Kryptonian's so can Silver Surfer.

Its called a low showing, for purposes of debate we don't use them.. 😉
The Black Panther arm lock isn't really a low showing as Black Panther used technology to strip Norrin of all his powers in that issue if I recall.
If he used the technology to drain Clark of all his powers, the result wouldn't be to different.
I guess Thor could do it to under the right circumstances.
He could absorb the entire Sun (Maybe I'm stretching it, he could probably asborb, most of the energy, or a great majority of it), and redirect it at Clark as a blast (All that energy from the Sun, plus the energy Clark could loose redirected at him as an attack and augmented by Thor's power should knock out Clark at the very least, or give Thor enough time to win in a fight).
It's not beyond Thor's power as, he did absorb the energy from Null bomb instantly without any effort (A Galaxy destroying bomb and redirected the blast, and reignited a dying Giant) if I recall correctly.
Oh, and Thor can also survive in the Sun, without any discomfort if I remember correctly. He did it while casually conversing with Norrin I believe.

Not that I recall.
He didn't?
Wasn't Surfer's Power Cosmic drained or some other PIS plot device in play?
I know there was a device that effected Silver Surfer from erasing Black Panther from the Universe besides his morale's.
Hmmm, do you remember the issue number?
I could post scans if you tell me the issue.

Didn't he drain it completely dry and gained the power boost, to fight?Hmm, hold on, I'll find the issue.
Oh crap.
😮
That's my bad.
He didn't drain the energy from the entire star, lol.
Well, he did channel the energy from the crunch not to long ago, and from what I have read, the crunch should dwarf any star. Even Galactus cannot channel it's energies for to long.
