Your right, for a second or two the glass would be totally ****ed up, it would be a fine powder... but only for a second or two.
Oh, and don't forget that this piece of glass has armor/defence penetration... but I'm only talking about damage soak right now, not a fight. 😉

the problem really stems from when they attempt to subvert super-science, and use or attempt using real science. they always seem to **** it up. spider-man's spider sense has always just been an extrasensory ability derived from a spider's instincts, but stark's explanation made it pheremone based? things of that nature just cause problems.
I agree, which is why i believe that comic book writers should be encouraged to use more exotic/unkown science to explain powers, rather than things that can be empirically proven not to work.

Heres the thing though, ten thousand punches from the Hulk isn't going to do more damage to Wolverine's brain the one punch from the Hulk because Wolverine's durability isn't far enough removed from baseline human to make a difference. One punch from someone in Hulk strength class would turn Wolverine's muscles/flesh/organs into a fine paste... several punches in quick recession isn't going to do any more damage to a brain that has been liquefied then one punch does. If Wolverine can heal fast enough to take one hit from the Hulk, he can heal from dozens... and if he can't then the first hit should have koed him... unless he does have insane durability... which he doesn't.Wolverine getting brain damage from the punches made no sense, Wolverine's brain isn't exclusive from his healing factor. 😕
