I couldn't stand the first album, but do quite enjoy a few songs on the new album.

I don't want to get into a big discussion about the Arctic Monkeys, I don't even pretend to know alot about music and will simply not waste time defining a genre so to speak, but the Arctic Monkeys have a vibe that I enjoy, and despite all the NME comradery that has always followed them, I truly think (yes me, the blue collar music lover) they are a good band, the lyrics hit a chord with me in particular.

Detest my opinion if you will, but I really could not care less.

They have a song called Brianstorm, though.

Surely this warrants the death penalty.

i went to a party about 10 years back and the Dj was called DJ Brian Storm....and he was SHITE
so the title of the track makes me squirm a little as it brings back memories of a party set list consisting the usual mobile dj trash
