Favourite album of the 00's so far?

Yes, but it doesn't apply to good artists.

The songs are longer anyway, which negates your original point.

I like Creed...best album of the 00's

Erm.... it applies to all artist. Dont tell me you're of of those braonwashed people who likes EVERY single song by your favorite artist? Then it's pointless trying to talk to you. Every band no matter how good they are has a terrible/ medocre song that doesnt meet thier full potential.
And yes their songs are long. But they have albums which have around 10 songs. So my point is still valid! Becuase they could have had 10 songs on this album if they wanetd to, but no, they chose 5 great ones. get it?

I'm yet to hear a Muse song I don't like.

No, good bands don't make filler songs. Filler songs aren't 'bad' songs; they are filler songs, created with the express purpose of filling space. A song can be bad without being a filler song.

No, because you're talking shit. The running time is equivalent to an album with a larger number of songs, so the statement 'less recording time to fill' is, clearly, bullshit.

Whatever. You make no sense, but as long as you do to yourself, it's ok. You seriously dont know much if you think that good bands dont make shit once in awhile.

Opeth.

Your point is destroyed. 😐

Here's the problem: that's not what I said. Do go on, though.

WHAT? one word is an argument? you type "Opeth" and I'm supposed to make sense of that? I dont like most Opeth so if you're gonna try and feed me shit on how great they are. Quit. I dont like them It's great that you do. Try and elaborate on your point more, it made no sense to me.

Ok well. You're entitled to your opinion... and I'm entitled to mine ; They have a lot of shit songs. But there are a hand full of songs that I do like from Opeth, but as a whole I don't fancy them much. So your "argument" that supposedly destroyed mine was just your opinion. Exactly.

Then no band is good. They all suck.

Well those are your words, not mine. I just suggested that even good bands are at the mercy of the commercial machine. I guess people are thinks that idea is outrageous. Anyways, it's crazy how all I did was state what my favorite album was and I had two dogs at my throat. KMC forums are sure getting hostile.

Well, by the simple fact that you believe opinions count for everything, then every band sucks because someone thinks so.

""The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place"-- Explosions in the sky. Probably my most favorite album for the 2000's (thus far) because it only has 5 songs, therefore less recording time to fill. Strongly recommend this for people who like Mogwai, the Red Sparowes, Russian Circles, Sigur Ros, stuff like that.

A far better album.

Regarding Creed....thank you...thank you...and thank you.

don't stop now. you are riffing, man. i mean, you are ON A ROLL.

Creed are one of my all time most hated bands...I despise every note, word and sound that comes out of this group. They are horrible in a countless number of ways.

But...I don't think that's what you guys meant...because you're just saying you personally don't like them and that they really don't appeal to you in the slightest...not that they're actually bad...'cause there's no such thing as that right?

...

Anyways...

...thank you for helping me once and for all prove my point...

...thank you for admitting in front of everyone that you don't "actually" think Creed are "actually" bad, but that they simply don't "do it" for you and that's all...

...and finally, thank you for proving to everyone on this board that when you say "Creed sucks" it means absolutley nothing...because it's just your opinion...and you could be wrong...so then Creed might not suck.

That's right people...Creed don't suck. Whatever you say chillmeistergen, Solo, and manorastroman. You really know what's up.

That was too easy! I'm done with this thread. You know what thread I'll be in if you wanna reach me.
