And DBZ is filled with jobbing, Freeza did so to make it intense, possibly. If 139 powerlevel is enough to destroy the moon, 120.000.000 is sure as hell much more than enough to destroy a planet.

EVeryone keeps talking about the virsuality of DBZ, not actual damage. Make the earth a few thousand times as hard as it is now, and the attacks will simply still destroy it.

Goku is far behind Supes is strenght, but not in durability, when i think about it... Goku takes many-times-more-than-neccesary-through-visually-only-planet-destroying-attacks very often.

Hell didn't King Cole once get offended when someone compared his son (Frieza's) durability to that of a "mere" planet? I think he threatend to kill the guy who said it too.

PS: The planet Vegeta has 10x's the mass of the Planet Earth. So win Frieza blew Vegeta away he produced enough energy to blow away the Earth 10x's over

Superman is way more versitle than Goku. He can become invisible and intangible, has greater durability and exceptional speed.

Depending on the incarnation Superman has 200+ quintillion tons of strength, up to being able tu rub his hands toguether to affect the very fabric of space-time.

The "amnesiac" karate kid didn't know where he was from...it didn't affect his fighting skill in any way whatsoever...or I would never have even brought it up.

I've never been interested in tournies...simply because it requires a lot more energy than popping in and out of threads every once in a while.

Personally I ignore GT and make it known that I only use SSJ3 Goku.

Goku has to sustain certain energy reserves to be capable of achieving his super saiyan levels. granted he can basically stay super saiyan with no attempt, however that would not be enough to challenge superman. Goku also loses power and speed capabilities the more he is beaten and the more fatigued he gets. Yes it takes alot for him to get this drained,but it happens. I am more than certain superman would be fast enough to keep Goku's energy blasts at bay. If not it wouldnt effect him that much. It would take a long consistant pounding of his top energy blasts. Goku doesnt have the abilityto keep pumping out the strongest of his artilary without tiring and having to bust down a saiyan level. It takes Goku great concentration and a large amount of his energy to pull off a kahmeha what ever the hell it is.

when you knock superman down, he is going to come back as strong as he was when you knocked him down, if not stronger. you knock down Goku enough, and force him to use his energy he will eventually be nothing more than a super saiyan or just a saiyan.

Superman is stronger and more durable.
But Goku is more skilled.

It's not hearsay as it's all in the book, you just aren't knowledgable in DBZ (and it shows in your arguments). Please believe that if you have the mangas or if someone in this topic has the complete mangas I could point out where every scene is (the mangas are at my parents house so I don't have access to them).

And DBZ A>B>C logic =/= American Comics A>B>C logic. In American comics character's have lower showings then others (take Spiderman vs. FL for instance), in DBZ, if you aren't on the level of the character you're fighting, you aren't going to win. Period. The superior character will always win.

PS: Pre Crisis Superman also got pawned by KK using skill. Something Goku likely has an equal amount of.

PPS: I just thought of a very impressive strength feat that had Tao Pai Pi launching a one ton beam across the world, while he rode on top of it.
