Well I dont know how powerful the characters healing factor was but the point is MN has some experience dealing with characters with similar stats...hell MN comes from a different universe so no im not going to be able to make a precise comparison. 🙄

and theres TWO of them.

There is pretty big difference in power between a guy who regrew his heart form scratch in three panels with out losing consciousness and a guy who can survive gun shot wounds....

Dammit. Go find a friend's damn scanner. And for that matter. Tell the entire forum what issue # it is so that they can look through their own comic collection. Wolverine baits Elektra into a position where he can grab the frikkin sword (that Elektra forgot was imbedded previously) and points it at her throat.

He beats Elektra straight up at that point with his brains. Wolverine did not lose his god damn humanity after getting his adamantium torn out of him. He is mindf@cked but he hardly loses his humanity and reverts to a beast. I'm not sure how you could even argue the difference between Wolverine going feral and Wolverine going into a berserker rage. Are you telling me all the fights he had between 'Fatal Attractions' and 'Onslaught' were fights where he had no humanity, did not use any martial arts training and did not once use a berserker's rage?!?!?!

ARE YOU FRIKKIN KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

That Wolverine and current Wolverine are two different pages of chips, that Wolverine was devolved after rejecting the adamantium implants and was more animal then man. The whole point of the training was that by becoming the martial artist he once was, he would remember the man he was too and regain his human said. His bersker rage was ineffective because it was no longer honed by the knowledge he once possessed.

UMMMMM; cap it up is right. Wolverine wasnt even human anymore. He was regressing slowly back to his humanity but he was still animal during that time. Wolverine couldnt even hardly talk and his words was all scramble together when he did try to talk. And his adamantium wasnt torn out of him he force it out of himself.

Wolverine wasnt himself and the way he fought was totally different. He fought like a animal during that time but when he goes berserk he keeps his fighting ability but just dont understand or realize pain and his abilities are sky rocketed.

Origins: Wolverine is exhausted, he has been moving non-stop since M-Day with out food or rest and his healing factor is in a rut. In this story arc Wolverine has actually passed out for exhaustion... Wolverine, passed out from exhaustion for Christ's sake! Even then, even though Captain America attacked Wolverine after he just fought Nitro... he didn't do that well, and would have died if Emma and Scott weren't there to spirit him away.

So YOU ALSO AGREE that Wolverine, between 'Fatal Attractions' and 'Onslaught Saga' that he was completely feral, did not retain his martial arts acumen during his fights and never went into a comparable berserker rage?

ANSWER THE QUESTION, YES OR NO.

If you answer yes, I will f@cking humiliate you with scans galore. Go ahead. I dare you.

EDIT]You too Carver9?! Time to get schooled when I get home this weekend. Apparently, allt he fights he had between 'Fatal Attarctions' and 'Onslaught' were fights where he had no real coherent thoughts and retained none of his martial arts acumen. Hooboy. I love proving arrogant people wrong.

I've read the entire run, Srank. You aren't telling me anything I don't already know.

I'm just adding fuel to the fire. 😉.

Well boy there are lots of Wolverine showings which show that his healing factor isnt going to help him against skilled MA. Growing back an ear in 3 panels...bullocks.

I would just like to say that one shot isn't going to knock DS out of the fight unless it's a decapitation. About 5 minutes before he took on the Teen Titans in issue #46 he was ran through with his own sword from behind. It looked like it went through his spine and/or heart and he was still fighting multiple people. There's also the famous scan of him being shot like 30 times and point blank range and still taking the guy out.

I can't speak for MNer but I just wanted put that out there about DS being 1 shotted.

You want to know something. You use a bad example with the nut shot because when that nut shot happened he was still standing and then the sad thing about it was that he was taking punches from sasquash using all of his strength and was bouncing back up like he didnt even feel it. I would love to get the scans to show you if you want. He was crushed into the ground creating a crater by sasquash and bounced back up and then he was hit like 90 feet away by sasquash and jumped back up.

The us agent feat, another bad example because he wasnt koed and us agent sneaked him which is a bad way to get hit. A sneak attack is the worst kind of hit and then us agent has 10 ton strength, not good but after than he still got back up. By the way us agent is 100 times stronger than these two put together. Superman got hit in the back of the head by captain marvel and was knocked out, does that mean that cap can take the majority over superman might could might cant but that one hit dont change the story. Wolverine laughed at spiderman punches (20 tons) on two occasions and you think that these two can knock him out. Wolverine bounced back up on the hulks punches, iron man punches, wendigo punches, thing punches, colossus punches, mimic punches, hercules punches, sasquashes punches, rogue punches, juggernaut punches, namor punches... do i need to keep going. All of these people strength>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ds and midnighter strength.

Right ok...so Wolverine has to deal with that and MN......I dont think so somehow.

Don't show me a scan of a Wolverine that is sitting in a Buddhist Zen stance and try fooling people without context. For one thing, he's sitting in a damn Buddhist Zen stance. now stop avoiding the question, answer this question yes or no:

"Did Wolverine not retain his martial arts acumen during his fights and never went into a comparable berserker rage between 'Fatal Attractions' and 'Onslaught Saga?"

Answer it, fool.

Yeah I know...but Wolverine response was "Theres no adamantuim down there", therefore implying that the reason why it hurt wasnt because had taken shots from sas but because that part was vulnerable.

Im pretty sure he was KOed. MN is an MA, MAs can compensate for not having vast strength. US agnet was a bad example but Wolverine has been hurt by much less.

😆 😆

srankmissingnin; you made him look so stupid. It says it right in the scan that he didnt use his martial arts. Thanks for showing that, he should feel like a idiot.

And you jerks better not avoid the friggin question. I'm going out right now to get drunk. When I look at this thread tomorrow or whenever I get back to it, I want a clear fugging answer, yes or no:

"Did Wolverine not retain his martial arts acumen during his fights and never went into a comparable berserker rage between 'Fatal Attractions' and 'Onslaught Saga?"

"Did wolverine not retain his...."

So, if one would answer yes, does that mean he DIDN'T retain his skill?

"Yes, Wolverine did not retain his skill."

But if one answers no, it'd sound awfully close to the same.

"No, Wolverine did not retain his skill."

I hate ambiguous questions!

Read the scan champ. Elektra is re-training Wolverine, training to help him remember all his martial arts training since "the sword remembers" and once he becomes the fighter he was, he man he was will be soon behind. It all there in the scan.
