Now I know how funny that seems to you all, but you have no idea the living hell it is. How your treated. People look down on you as if your are less worthy a form of life then them. You don't understand what happens.

All of you people do, to able bodied people, everything we go through is nothing but a joke.

**** you

**** you

Don't you think it's the disabled people who should get to say that to abled people?

And chill, 90% of people I've encountered treat disabled people how I was treated. Doesn't matter where you are in the world, almost everyone is like that.

I don't think you (probably not really, but we'll run with it) being disabled has anything to do with how you're treated. It's probably more because you're a sanctimonious liar, hypocrite and cretin.

Wow, your more of an angry, bitter person then I am.

No, nobody should have anymore rights than anyone else, no matter what their condition.

You're generalising tremendously and it could be viewed as insulting.

"you're," "than" and I doubt that's possible. Pointing out that you're sanctimonious, a liar, a hypocrite and a cretin, has no bearing on my demeanour, anymore than if I were to point out that the sky is blue on a nice day.

No it can be viewed as my personal experience.

And it's not more rights, its realizing that they need special help, and in my province at least I am fighting to get it for them.

Well judging by what you've said all you're going to get is them laughing at you while you twitch. Seriously, I try to be civil with you and get passed your self righteousness, but I can't. You're hopeless.

Actually, in an election year when I can have papers and media outlets doing stories criticising them I think I'll get more then that.

What exactly makes you so special? I suppose you're going to do your best to manipulate them and play the sympathy card. Well if the media do get involved, be sure to scan the papers won't you? Of course it won't get any further than maybe your university paper at best. Which will just be another reason for people to laugh at you. Sorry for being so blunt Starhawk, but you're no better than anyone else.

I never said I was. I don't know where you get that from.

It's the dominant, for lack of a better word; motif in nearly all of your posts. You never admit you're wrong, which the consensus usually regards you to be. You see your opinion higher than others and even your statistics. I could go on, but I don't want to hurt that huge ego of yours.

No I simply know what I believe in, and they speak most often from a stance of protecting business at all costs, and greed, I simply care about people and their well-being.

No, you care about one group of people and their well being. You don't care for any kind of majority. I believe in caring for minorities as well, but not only minorities.
You fail to understand even the most simplistic economics. You also fail to understand why luxuries are not a necessity, something most are taught when they are four or younger. You use an illness as a soapbox but in all the wrong ways, you are not being noble but foolish. You have also lied in other threads and have the cheek to ask for evidence off others, when it's given you ignore it. You talk of real debate, but do not know what one is. I personally do not believe you to be a law student, but someone desperately wanting to have some kind of status.

The poor and disabled are the majority in society.

No they're not, that's bollocks. I don't know who told you that, or which library you read it in but it's absolute shit. Provide statistics to back it up, or don't claim it.

According to this website: http://www.mickwood.com/articles/barriers.shtml

There are 4.2 million disabled people in Canada.

The population of Canada is 32,911,322
According to this website:http://www.statcan.ca/english/edu/clock/population.htm

Strangely enough Starhawk, I believe them more than you.

I will I am looking at the stats Canada website now for it.

But one thing is the Government has a very sketchy past on what it considers low income.

I believe I provided statistics for the average wage per annum, much earlier in the thread. I also provided statistics for living costs. These showed that the majority of Canadians, are certainly not low income earners.

What do you consider low income?
