Okay. So you are saying that poison will significantly weaken him but his organs can liquify and completely reform in seconds?
The poison is a constant stain on his HF. Destroyed organs are a single instantaneous problem. They still wouldn't come back in seconds though.

Thats ignorant... I say that he can no longer fly for the sake of this thread!
Namor is a half Atlantian? ZOMG! That doesn't even make sense!!! There is no such thing as an Atlantian, pick up an Encyclopedia, Marvel writers! 😠
Thats a poorly conducted back story and super mega ignorant! I say because of this for the sake of the thread Namor is now a human!

Originally posted by jinzinYou got some point there, but I'm not only talking about this thread a couple others and back in the days (I missed a couple months here). Sometimes you do act arrogant when a people doesn't know exactly the detail of a feat or so. Then you should immediately strike him and call it a so called win. Yeah we debate but it isn't a contest (well as far as I know).
Is this directed towards me?see I don't know how that argument flies.
I mean, we ALL use feats and facts to support the sides of the debate that we are for. I don't think it's reasonable to assume that we should do otherwise.. and personally I don't think I've been playing arrogant OR fanboyish whatsoever. I've been supporting everything I've said thus far...
at least the wolverine fans haven't had the gumption to throw out fabricated arguments from the opposing side as was done in one of the last posts I responded to.

[b]Namor for the f*cking win.

In a fight wolverine's healing factor gets a boost due to adrenaline.
Wolverine's healing factor works faster when it has to.
The reference to Wolverine being liquified by punches occured AFTER he had his admantium taken out and put back in.. during his time without admantium his mutation continued to progress as documented in wolverine issue 92. His healing factor kicked up a few notches after issue 100.
The reference to Wolverine being affected by poision not only lacks a substantial quote on how long the poision effected him but also happened nearly a decade before the removal of the adamantium from wolverine's skeleton.
It's well documented that against some poisions Wolverine's healing factor has a difficult time counteracting them/driving them out of his system
It was never stated (at least to my personal knowledge) that wolverine took two full months to recover from his fight with Shingen so you still need to prove that first.
Now... I thought you said you know about wolverine.. 😬

Yes it's true that sometimes we lash out.. But I ask that you at least try to see it from our perspective...
Wolverine fans are constantly badgered, harrassed, liabled, mocked, and insulted... Not to mention that the character himself generates more hate than any 2 other comics book characters on these forums combined.
It's only natural that there's a breaking point where we would say enough is enough....
Just ask some of the more reasonable members.... names that come to mind being darkcrawler, king mungi, soljer to name a few... when the opposition gives respect they are in turn given it... We usually only fly off the handle when we've been ignored or made fun of.. it's not usually unreasonable when we snap..
Of course that's from my personal perspective.

And the story took place after the whole Brood incident and Wolverine was in a bit of a slump.

Yeah I'd still say wolverine is worse off.. you don't see many threads where superman's up against someone covered in kryptonite.. but wolverine gets equivolently hopeless matches all the time. 😬
There was a fight with IronMan vs Superman with the conditions that IronMan was radiating K-nite and red sun radiation constantly and all his beams were made of it and Superman started at half power.
There was also Superman vs Hulk with the condition that it took place on a distant planet because Superman is weaker in the dark.
Those were fun threads.

Originally posted by RewmacThis has to be cosigned. I've seen too many times for no reason that for the simple fact that when someone doesn't agree with Wolverine on here they are immediately insulted and it's childish. I can point out dozens of threads. The only time I deem it necessary to strike back is when I get tired of the childish insults and retorts. Which mostly come from the side who complains they are hated so much in the first place. I have no problem getting dirty my whole thing is if you can't sit at the table, then don't eat. And that's not aimed at jinzin in particular, that's aimed at everyone who does it, because 9 times out of 10 when I push back they can't take it. Someone "hating" your favorite character isn't really an excuse.

When Has Wolverine been injuried and he didn't have adrenaline pumping through his system?

where?
It was never stated (at least to my personal knowledge) that wolverine took two full months to recover from his fight with Shingen so you still need to prove that first.
In the last page of the Claremont/Miller series:
"We stay in the mountains while I heal. Then, in spring, I finally write the X-Men..."
In the deluxe edition of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe:
"However, it took Wolverine almost two months to fully recover from the injuries he sustained in a duel with Shingen Harada."
And please note that in that series he had two duels with Lord Shingen, the first during which he suffered the effects of being poisoned was fought with wooden practice swords. The second serious duel using their blades (in which he admitted he was no expert with the sword 😕 ) he was not under the effects of poison.

Superman vs. Thing with stipulations, anyone?

I love Wolverine. But I enjoy good consistent writing more. I only hate it when people defend stupidity and slip-shop comic book stories just because they have a crush on a character.
And them pointing out many examples of stupid inconsistencies in wolverine's comic appearances helps my argument, not there's.

lol. still nothing as bad or consistent as some of the lopsides that wolverine's been a part of. 🙁
well maybe the iron man one's as bad.

see the thing is, when you look at all of a character's feats, in this case being wolverine.. the majority of "inconsistencies" that have been brought up so far are from you. 😬
Inconsistent is assossiated directly to a majority rule. By and large, wolverine has FAR more showings with his healing factor acting superior to the way which you describe it than the other way around... Wolverine taking 2 months to heal from a wound is heavily.. and I mean HEAVILY outweighed by the hundreds of occassion where wolverine's shrugged off worse and healed in seconds....
It's also important to note that the reference to wolverine taking long to heal may have more to do with what happens to wolverine's body after the wounds itself heals physically...
Wolverine recovered in moments from having his arm burnt to ash by cassandra nova... but later on he was meditating to rid himself of the pain left thereafter. According to him, although the wound had healed, it still felt like it was burning the hell out of him.
