Look, they're equal and have equal potential.
Phoenix was created so Jean could be on par with Storm. There's a reason why Phoenix is all the Psionic energy that ever existed, ever has existed and every will exist. It's Jean's Potential. Storm is a Goddess, a 3-dimensional Goddess all by herself. She has and will ascend.
It isn't my fault writers NEGLECT Storm's continuity set forth by CC who created the Phoenix and has been writing Storm since her beginings in 1975.
He basically fathered BOTH characters.
Celestial energy and Sustenance.
They do different things in different ways, yet they are APPROXIMATELY EQUAL.

None of your threads have done any better than this, so I don't think you can criticise DC for his efforts. If you haven't got anything good to say, don't say anything.

Debating for the sake of debating isn't going to result to a win.
It's obvious that you have either completely understood what I posted and just can't admit that you are wrong, or you are stupid enough not to understand what I posted, or you just skimmed through it.
Let me post again. Cliff's notes version.
Only version Storm has stated to be equal by Claremont is the Green Suited one.
Why?
A) During the interview, as Claremont was referring in present tense, he was talking about the only version of "Phoenix" that time was the Green-suited one.
B) Claremont clearly stated that the Phoenix he was talking about had a limit to his power. Here. ”Jean can maintain a higher burst...she can peak higher than Storm. But she can't hold it for long.”
C) Claremont also said tha Jean's power was on higher level's then Storm's, and the only reason why Storm can catch up to her is the limits the Green-suited Phoenix has.
C) Which was the only version of Phoenix to show regular limits that could not be crossed without moving into another incarnation? The Green-suited one.
http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/723/phoenixlimits01dy3.jpg
D) Those scans you show don't hold. Dark Phoenix's power was growing all the time, becoming limitless. She wasn't fully capable in the early times either, as Jean's influence was still affecting her. This was referenced in the comic, multiple times, when they were fighting for influence. In the second scan the psychic blocks from Xavier come back when Jean's influence comes back and she turns into green-suited one. The weakness and limits are mentioned again specifically - I do advise you to read the comics better.
You yourself supplied the interview, don't come back crying when it only strengthens MY points.
The interview CLEARLY states that the incarnation Claremont is talking about has limits.
You can't deny that in any way.
The interview also states that incarnation has higher level power then Storm.
You can't deny that in any way.
The interview also states that Storm is able to hold his power for longer then that incarnation because of the limits the incarnation possess.
You can't deny that in any way.
It has been long established that the fully realized Phoenix Force is universal, limitless entity, the big bang, spark of creation and the end of it, able to manipulate universe in the palm of her hand...

Chris Claremont agrees with me. The interview agrees with me. Grant Morrison agrees with me. Scott Lobdell agrees with me. Every single comic book writer, handbook and other comic related material agrees with me. I have thousands of different sources to search for proof, and you got nothing. Nada. Zilch. Not a single feat, quote or comic to support your stance.
Oh, and posting those tired scans of hyperbole descriptions about powers being like song within people and compherension...newsflash, writers use many colourful descriptions with their character and might repeat them. In the Roguestorm case it was clearly intentional because of the similar situation (psychologically, not powerwise) of both succumbing to the dark side, but it doesn't prove jack shit about their respectable power levels.
Roguestorm NEVER did anything impressive. That's a fact.
And thus, you are left with nothing.
Your case is like the EPITOME of being DEAD WRONG. Seriously, if there is a dictionary out there with that concept, one of the sources it directs to will be your posts.

Phoenix is no "Big Bang" ...
theoretically Phoenix is the "Spark" that ignites the Big Bang,
theoretically because it has never occured on panel.
In fact Phoenix has never Remade a Universe, or Created a Universe,
Phoenix has never even Destroyed the 616 Reality.

PS. Phoenix is far beyond Storm though.

Theoretically? Yes.
On panel her power output is pultry in comparison with that of the Spectre and his feats.

Cause it's all hyperbole if you ask me.
I've seen the PF (Hostless) the purest incarnation, defeated by 6 Heroes (Phoenix/Resurrection)
(I'm sure you seen it too, I posted them many times)
An alien Ship nearly killed that Host-less Phoenix. (Phoenix/Resurrection)
Galactus nearly erased the actual PF from existence. (Excalibur #25)
The PF was an unwitting servant of Death (X-Men Forever)
Right before Jean became the WPOTC,
she was killed by a measely Electric Magnetic Pulse at the hands of Xorn. (New X-Men #150)
Originally posted by Mr MasterMaybe if we know what shes doing in the white hot room then we could base her power better. What throws her off as a character is that for being said to be so powerful , she hardly deals with anyone but the X-men. The whole "amputating the future " thing makes me beleive that she is what she says she is but unless she has more interaction with cosmic beings or at least does her job, she falls into the ambiguous category.

three of those are very explicable. namely, the NXM and resurrection instances. i don't want to get into it, just saying.

Nor have I ever tried to make a thread better than this, so what you said has little to any relevance. And it was merely constuctive critism. And if I don't have anything good to say? This whole bloody thread is to bash 2damnloud, so in a way your statement is a double standard. And you're probably going to argue that he made this thread to point out that Storm isn't as powerful as The Phoenix, so outside the initial post, everything is bloody spam. I pointed out that there was no point in making this thread, cause 2damnloud is so disillusioned, and even after the fact, i'm told to shut up. What DC did was completely in vain. Now if your going to put me down, for stating the obvious, even though everyone else clearly didn't see it, then I beleive you should shut up. 😐 And finally, again I applaud DC's efforts, but if it didn't work in any of the v.s threads nor in the respect thread, he didn't need to waste his time
