If you liked the first, your probably going to like the second. It's very similar structure wise (collect resources, build units and kill).
As I said before, I've been looking forward to a much more traditional RTS than CoH and DoW2 and this fits the bill exactly.
It sucks it cost more than most PC games (10 bucks) but there is a ton of content in it so your definitly going to get your monies worth.
Ive finished most levels on "brutal" difficulty, they always add something nasty in brutal, something extra to make things actually "brutal", my problem is speed because when it comes down to finishing a level in 20 minutes or w/e it is, I have to stretch my will and patience to succeed 🙁
But anyway, been a great game, not finished yet but on mission 26/27
Spoiler:it is really awful on Brutal but ive only tried it once.
The one where you use the artifact to weaken Kerrigan and you have to defend it
Zerg is certainly my fave race so ill have to play them to death to get their build orders right.

One thing I didn't like about the RP element, particularly with the lab research portion, is that you are able to max out both trees by the end. I was hoping that you had to choose one tree to focus on. Would have helped with replayability.
You cant technically, because you can only choose one out of two choices each time you upgrade. Therefore you would have to play through more than once to get all the upgrades. In my first play through I have simply chosen units and powers that are unique and outside the multiplayer/Skirmish experiance.
I did the Nydus worms one, but the Brood Lords were such a constant hassle from all directions that I feel I was in error.
Difficulties like Brutal are beyond what I see as reasonable in gaming.
Anyway, the game was alright and there was some good mission design there, but it's no great shakes, all things considered. The majority of the campaign, storywise, was pretty boring.
Yes, but I feel I could account for them more easily; enough siege tanks around would blast them down without me having to micromanage all the time.
Whilst Brood Lords outrange missile turrets so you need to actively hunt them down, and there is so much going on in that mission that it is a co-ordination nightmare to catch them all. You think you are doing well and then you see that one Brood Lord you missed has levelled all your defences at one side of the base and it is effectively game over.
