Really..GA's life doesn't seem all that tragic to be honest, it's much worse than a normal man's life. But it isn't half as bad as most heroes to be honest 😬.
Bro having a city blown up that your supposed to protect and then eggting impaled to the floor is bad enough, im sure there were people in star city he cared about, actually thats pretty bad.

I never said it wasn't.
I'm just saying, overall.. Ollie has had it pretty easy compared to the majority of heroes.

Wow I never realised your head was sooo far lodged up Magneto's anus you were oblivious to the tragic events of other characters like GA. 😛
"B...bu....but....Magneto! Holocaust!" 😛

I don't even like Magneto actually, it was just the first example I thought of.
And if you really think GA>>Holocaust, then yeah.. 😐 This conversation won't get much further.
And Alf, I can think of a few that it has. But it's not even like that, I'm not trying to say that it isn't really bad.. but just that there are plenty of people that have had worse things happen to them.

I'm aware of that, you just played the Will loves GA card, I'd thought to respond in kind.

Wow talk about twisting my words. Read the post, I never said GA >> Holocaust, that's just stupid. I was just taking the mickey outta the fact that's the only thing you've said about Magneto's tragic past when I can think of several other important examples ✅

I see what you mean.....a whole city though. But to an extent I guess your parents getting gunned down in front of you is worse because it happened when ypu were 9 and you were very close to them. A whole city is pretty bad but im not sure how close hes was to the people in star city.

Yeah I think the events were different in the sense that for Magneto it was something that was deep and personally scarring and shaped his character to some extent. For GA the explosions set off around the city hurt him because he saw it a little bit like Batman sees Gotham. It's his city, his people, his responsibility sorta thing. Both are tragic in very different ways. ✅

There's hardly anything as tragic currently for Magneto, the 6 million mutant inhabitants of Genosha being killed I guess.. other than that.. Not really. I also think that the earlier in the career something happens, the more affect it has.
for example: Bruce's parents getting gunned down or Scott Summer's parents seemingly being killed.
Star City = Pretty Meh, compared to Genosha's entire population being killed by the sentinels or Bludhaven being destroyed by Chemo etc.

Oh I agree those were probably comparatively worse, but nonetheless my point still stands that The events that occurred for GA were still very, very tragic ✅

I'll add Longshot to the list. The man can't experience tragedy; his power gurantees good luck. And he has an awesome power to attract women. Bastard.
😛
Longshot's life despite his power has never been an easy one.
