Ultimates are too easy though. They dont really have a long enough for some real nasty Sh*t to happen to them yet.

Beast and Sentry at least.

Ultimate Prof x 131

Jack Knight. His dad asked him to be a hero and he did, in exchange his dad developed the Star Rod technology as a form of green energy (probably didn't change anything in DC). His brother was shot but they hang out in his dreams once a year. His dad died but it was saving Opal City from destruction. He was raped by the Mist but he loves his kid and spends his days raising him.

Thor and Mr. F are good candidates. I'll add Uatu and Booster Gold.

He has to live every day knowing he turned his best friend into a monster 😐

And despite all of his efforts he has never been able to help him.

How is that not tragic? 🤨

Reed never spends any time trying to cure Ben ... for a guy who supposedly "feels guilty" about it he seems to enjoy avoiding helping Ben out.

Seriously ... find me 10 FF comics from the last 5 years where he's focusing on curing Ben.

If my wife was that hot I'd forget about my friends too.

😛

Hot wife.

Tons of money.

Absurdly intelligent.

Total pimp.

Owns a building.

Popular with the general population.

For a second there, I was all like:

Shit, Jack got raped by that crusty old man? 😘

And then I realised he got raped by the crusty old man's daughter, and then I was like "Oh.. that's ok then".

I'm not sure if that first part was sarcasm or not? 😛

He can still be a tragic character

Aside from having a hot "wife", intelligence and the building the Thing also fits those categories

But is he a tragic character? Hell yeah!

LOBO.....Nuff said
