Respect Firestorm!

This isn't really a feat per say -- But it is rather interesting...

======

Amidst the battle against Anti-Monitor during COIE, Firestorm can be seen in a panel describing the 50 most powerful beings to ever live...

"Fifty strong, the most powerful beings who have ever lived, or will live":

----------

Firestorm can even be seen when Superemo Prime recalls this event:

Of course not one of those 50 did shit to AM, but yes, he's in some esteemed company.

Think we'll see him play a larger role in Final Crisis?

Well since his solo series was cancelled, I sure hope so -- But I'm sure he'll take the backseat to more popular characters, as usual. 🙁

Firestorm fried the circuitry that lies within The Thinker's brain, which rendered his mental powers utterly useless -- And left him in a comatose state:

When Jason first became Firestorm, he merged a villain to the FS-Matrix, without even knowing he had done so -- But once Jason took control of that situation, he ended up mentally killing this villain, effortlessly:

----------

On another occasion, Jason forcibly merged another being to the Matrix, long enough to turn him into a vegetable:

exactly what I said in a thread. that FS could merge Silver surfer to the matrix as a possible win. You said he couldn't forcibly merge anyone. 😕

That's because I had never seen him do so before, on panel -- And neither had you, [until I posted those scans, that is]. 😊

Anyhow,
It just demonstrates yet another option FS has in battle, [even if it's hardly ever used].

I knew he could. 😄 I have that whole series.

I knew FS could merge characters to the Matrix, but I wasn't 100% positive he could do so against their will, until just recently. 🙂

Anyone who still thinks Firestorm cannot transmute organic matter -- Please read:

----------

When Jason merged Lorraine Reilly, [aka. Firehawk], to the FS-Matrix -- She wasn't exactly "willing" to do so:

[Just more proof that even the 'unwilling', can still be fused to the Matrix]. 😊

To further answer your question Trick,
It seems as though Firestorm will undoubtedly play some type of role in "The Final Crisis."

When Rip Hunter was showing Booster Gold glimpses of different points in the future, which will happen -- Firestorm can be seen among a few other heroes, [and in a new costume to boot!]

Look at the panel in this scan which says, "Week 104, Day 1: The Final Crisis":

😊

----------

Furthermore,
FS also seemed to be a major topic Rip Hunter was studying on a chalkboard in his lab...

"Ronnie Raymond + X = Firestorm!":

Yeah I saw those before, but not sure why Martian Manhunter is back to his original look, Ice is alice same with Crimson Dynamo and why Aquaman is in his short lived cameo costume

I wasn't too sure about those changes either..

All I know is,
Firestorm's new costume, [seemingly an amalgam between Ronnie and Jason's costumes], looks pretty sweet.

If Firestorm is on that board, and Rip Hunter is keeping an eye on him, that means he's going to be important to the survival of the DCU. 😱

Maybe ronnie and jason merge. That would be sweet. And Who are the red lanterns? That has me wondering. I read somewhere that there would be blue lanterns. Maybe the guardian's cousins make them?

The Zamarons? Or the controllers? The Zamarons are making the love corp, which is pink, I think.

And isn't Ronnie dead?

The love corps are not pink - they're violet.

The Red corps will be the hate corps, and the blue corps will be the hope corps - likely led by the exiled guardians.

They already have merged. none

The one thing I've learned about Ronnie is, he never really "dies", [in the literal sense].

I'd bet we'll see him again. 🙂

Really good thread Galan! 👆

I actually did have a question though. Can firestorm use his power to amp-up any other character(s)?

It seems to me like he should be able to. 😮
