People who have done good go to Hell because they are sinners by nature and by the sins that they commit. Since all of our righteousness are like filthy rags (because of our innate sin nature) they do not count for anything. Besides, without the shedding of blood (i.e. unless Someone Who is sin-less dies in place of a sinner) there can be no forgiveness. God is technical. If a person sins then that person must pay for his/her sins (unless Someone else is willing to suffer for him/her). God is very just because He will ensure that you will receive punishment only for the sins that you have committed (He is not going to make some sins up that you have not committed.
But if a person comes to God in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ, and asks God for forgiveness for all of their sins, then God will forgive that person's sins (all of them). But if that person chooses not to come to Jesus Christ then that person must pay for his/her own sins in Hell.

The Bible explains what you must do in order to be saved. If you do not do this then you are still in your sins (Read John 8:21,24).
Yes, I have asked Jesus Christ to save me from my sins (I need Jesus to wash away my sins and you know what? He has!).

You fail to understand that you are a sinner by nature (it has nothing to do with whether you ever sin or not, even though you have), and by the acts if sin that you have committed. All it takes is one sin to be condemned to Hell for eternity and you have said that you rarely (not never) sin which means that you have sinned at least once in your life. Hence, you are a sinner both by nature and by commission. You are lost without the shed Blood of Christ. How will you escape Hell?

You are blame-shifting and directing the focus from yourself to me. I am born again, my salvation is assured. If I am convicted of sin I ask God for forgiveness and instantly my sins are forgiven. I will ask Jesus to forgive me, but still sin...and keep asking Jesus to forgive me after every sin..i will repent over and over..... then i will enter heaven 😄
