Its in the same issue where superman got hit with a submarine. Before him and the jla confronted dr poloris superman and the jla was gathered around and superman told the entire team that it wouldnt be good to confront doctor poloris due to doctor poloris being able to affect their blood.
That wasn’t a female Doctor Polaris. He was just Jokerfied. And Superman was 'blinded' by a thousand years of volcanic ash. Something Polaris could only do because of the battlefield (at that time). And Superman never said it wouldn't be a good idea to confront Polaris, he simply said 'there's at least a trace of metal in all of us'. It was Kyle that said Polaris had a counter for all of them.

It was a statement that was made before the battle even began.
After the JLA had confronted Polaris.

Then why the hell did he say it was the same issue in which Superman was hit by a submarine?

When in the comic did it state that he was hit with thousand of years of ash. From reading this she said that she bent the electromagnetic spectrum.
I thought it was before, you could be right but superman still stated that he could control there blood. Its been years since I read the comic.
I would love to see you explain this scan also. I know you come up with something. http://img169.imageshack.us/my.php?image=drpolarisvssuperman9md8.jpg
Basically cut him from his solar energy.

Different comics. Next time, make sure you reference the proper comic.

Because that's within his powerset. He can control the electromagnetic spectrum. I'm referring to when he blinded Superman, and weakened him.

Only weakened him. He was still able to fly, and had enough strength to move cars.
