I didn't attach any ego to it. I didn't support IQ tests and I don't really support IQ tests. They tend to be linguisticly and culturally biased and have many interfering factors. They are also inaccurate in certain ranges, they are outdated and pigeonhole children which I deeply resent.
well, i can see why there is a need to measure intelligence, but it's an issue of nature vs nurture....if a person views iq as a birthright that is passed on via genes, then i can see them hindering anyone who is below a certain score. if someone believes in nurture, i can see them teaching more and correcting any flaws or teaching the child how to correct their thinking.....the nature believers may feel that by birth right, they are better (survival of the fittest and too bad suckers for the ones who aren't as "smart"😉, isn't that the same thing that some of the rich use to think in order to exclude marrying the middle class (they were overlords by birthright)? anyway, I love the movie "pride and prejudice" perfect example of marrying across class...
