Should Paris Hilton go to jail?

forgot to add, i know many joke around, but i get the impression from some that they would genuinely feel some kind of satisfaction if she was raped in prison. these people go on to point out her backwards sense of morality. isnt it ironic? dont you think?

I wouldn't ACTUALLY want her to get raped. Then I'd have nothing to watch on t.v. 😬 Seriously, it's just wrong that since she's a celebrity she gets time off... Stupid judge...

well, she's serving her time so i fail to understand the continued hostility. im not focusing on any members, im talking about an overwhelming sadistic hatred which i read/see/hear...everywhere.

while im uncomfortable with the idea of her being sentenced twice for the same crime, the end result is she's doing her time, which is just imho. should this be good enough? should we all kinda shut up about it now?

I'm reserving judgement. But it was a re offence and she could have killed someone, she deserves no more or less sympathy than your average drunk driver.

i wasnt suggesting that she deserves sympathy, but rather am asking why the continued (in fact elevated) widespread hatred/contempt/deathwish on her?

she was convicted and is doing her time. isnt that the conclusion everyone wanted? wasnt the argument "she should be above the law"? well, now she isnt, she's in jail, but nobody seems satisfied. its just more blood in the water for the media feeding frenzy. i just find it all ugly

Celebrities going to jail is going to get them more media than they've probably ever had. Remember Martha Stewart? No one was off her case until she was back in the kitchen and without an anklet...

if a celebrity does their time it's even further injustice since they are famous and thus hilighted in the media?

Maybe doing some good with her life. We'd never even be on this conversation if she weren't such a ho-bag. As a matter of fact, I started this with the intention of getting input about her going to jail, but I knew it'd eventually turn into a Paris bashing page...

Pink's awesome. She's not a little whiney *****. She's involved with charity and women's rights unlike Paris who WAS commited to "Vote or Die" and then decided to not vote...

forgot to add, if you or i were arrested and convicted on drunk driving charges, chances are we wouldnt be completely humiliated before the world. so the pros and cons seem even, imho. just food for thought.

😮 Of course not... It still took her a hell of a long time to be convicted, though. She dodged in and out of trouble. She could have in fact, made it out scot-free. She just didn't happen to be that lucky...
