Even if it did mean anything it was said back during the green suited phoenix before she was changed into a cosmic entity. Back then Magneto owned the phoenix rather easily. Then she was changed into a sun eater, Dark phoenix was an upgrade of the green suited phoenix. The equivilency in power was broken between the two characters. DP had lightspeed travel through aspace unaided and ate suns. then she was killed off. and then it was retconned that jean was not dead just in suspended animation and it was a cosmic entity that was the phoenix.

That's why you can't use the interveiw. it was something at the time. but things changed and Storm is nto equakl to phoenix anymore. Phoenix of the white crown held a universe in her hands. Using the interveiw to say that storm is that powerful is ... well retarded.
